  1. I had single incision on June 4 th. Recovery was fine; I actually returned to work 2 days following surgery as I couldn't take additional days off. I was able to function butva third day would have been nice! I was pain free / no discomfort by the end of 2 weeks post op.
  2. Hi Debbie, Things have gone really well. I am 2 weeks out today, feeling like myself again, plus I am down 10 lbs. My goal is to lose 10 lbs per month.......trying to be realistic, so I'm pleased. Am still in the mushy stage, but I have found things pretty easy. Just trying to stay focused and listen to my body! Any challenges I should be aware of when I transition to Phase III? Dora

  14. I am being banded June 4th but am a bit confused. In reading numerous posts, many of you have experienced significant weight loss during the first few months following your banding procedure...........however, other posts indicate it takes several months until fills are adequately adjusted for significant weight loss to occur. What has been your experience?
  15. How long is the hospital stay for single incision?
  16. I'm also working with Dr. Garber. I have my endoscopy scheduled for 4/19/12. Am not sure of the out of pocket cost.......I was told the lap band procedure (without being covered by insurance) was $20,000.
