Hello, I hve bcbs of ILL. but leave in new jersey and they summited on 24th of april, I call in the bcbs office on the 4rth of may and I asked to speak to a manager and explain to him how ancient i was tp know and asked me for my contact number to call me back on to tell me status.....5 hours later he called me back and i was approve....

Hello, Congrats on your banding. I got banded on Saturday and the shakes are ok but tiring for now. I'm drinking muscle milk light chocolate....3 a day and clear liquid in between.....

I got mine on Saturday and i was very nauseas. But the second day meaning Sunday I felt better but been having ton o gas..very painful....But we took the fisrt step and WE MUST CONTINUED ! GOOD LUCK KEEP US POSTED AND WE ALL HAVE TO HELP EACH OTHER.

I FEEL very unconfortable...tons of gas on my stomach........????

I hope that everythings works out ok. I have BCBL of ILLinois...I have the luck of the Irish..Got approve in 5 days.....After evryone say that it take for ever to get approve or decline So don't loose hope and don't give up !

I'm getting banded because I have PCOS, It the lapband reduces the infertily in big big percentage....I will not take anything to prevent getting pregnant but i will not want to get pregnant for atleast 1 year. Therefor My husband will have to take care the business with latex....sorry....lol

I will comment on you questions ...First I'm not banded, I will June 6th. But I could tell you something....Try the liquid diet for the 3 days and then change to puree and then try to just eat 1 cup or so of good food. Well chewed and slowly and see if you wll ok with that....This is why I'm telling you this....I try this as if I had the band and could n't do it by myself. But with the band you will get full and will eat with your eyes but no tthe stomach...it will let you know how much you can take. But making sure that the only little food that you are going to eat is full of all the nutrients you need....I have friends that has the band but they can't control what the eat and they will gain all the weight back......I hope it helps.....But no questions nor doubts I'm getting it !
