Thanks everyone i dont plan to cheat cause im dedicated but this i MUST say is harder that i thought, even though ive been temped to cheat ive made up my mind to abide by all the rules, thanks for your responses it really makes it better for me....June 18th is my surgery date, keep me in you all prayers!!

I had to sign something with my surgeon that i would not abuse diet pills while being banded, so i would say no, but everyone is different..good luck

Has anyone cheated and ate solid food while on pre op diet? I am so hungry and these shakes are horrible, the pre op diet is much harder than i thought it would be please help

I want to be able to wear a belt with my blouse inside my clothes, instead of hiding the fat wearing them on the outside.

Omg this liquid diet is going to be hard ive had three shakes already today and im sick of them already gotta drink two more today, i keep going in the kitchen and wanta eat some food so bad, my first day of 7 days has not started off good surgery is Monday. Pray for me yall...lol

Has anyone takin the the pill form vitamins instead of chewable right after sugery, the b1 vitamins r really small will i be able to take the pill instead of chewable, my multi vitamins or chewable and Omg they are gross!!

I bought b-1 vitamins in pill form and they are small, was anyone able to take pill vitamins first day home from surgery????

I start my pre op diet June 11th protein shakes and liquids only my surgery is June 18th im not nervess about the surgery it self but the after surgery stuff, just hoping i dont have alot of complications, but im ready for it all., good luck everyone

I believe everyone is grown adults on here and r able to make thier on judgements on what they take, ive only read advice giving on here, and if someones advices someone to take anything that adult has to decide themselves if they should r not!

I have Cigna and was approved in one week, once my doctor submitting the paper work i called Cigna to get status...the rep told me they have a denial or approval within 5 days and she was right, i called back 5 days later and was told it was approved...my advice would be to call Cigna ask for the precert depart and they will give u status..good luck.

Just got the call saying i have been approved for surgery im soooo excited and ready to start my journey now just waiting for my surgery date!!!

What i learned from them if u send all they need they will approve..my advocate thought the recommendation letter would be enough, but they justed wanted an additional letter giving medical clearance from a doc other than my surgeon, so he sent that 2 days later approved...good luck keep posted.
