  8. I'm getting my band to sleeve revision next week and I have opted to not tell everyone I know. Only my 2 bosses and my immediate family know. However my friends from work are getting quite nosey about my scandilious leave from work coming up. I have just said I've decided to get my lap band removed. I feel guilty like I am lying! And then questions start and I don't know what to do or say!!! HELP!!!!
  9. Wow! That's great! My RE didn't suggest surgery but the WL will definitely help. Maybe only have to try clomid. Glad to hear the insulin resistance is better. I'm also diabetic and can't wait for that to disappear!
  10. Quick question... Anyone have facial hair due to PCOS and have the symptoms of that (or any/all) die down or go away completely after weight loss?? Thanks

  20. Bubblesbgood- thank you for your comment. I am in the same boat. Lost weight initially and gained back. Felt like a HUGE failure. I was banded 6 weeks after one of my girlfriends at work and she lost almost 90 lbs. not me!! So to know someone else who says that it was there band that failed them makes me feel better about myself. And now Im just waiting for ins approval for a date!!
  21. Thanks guys!! I will look into it. Just awaiting my approval. =\ a bit nervous
  22. Willpastons.... I was banded 24 months ago and have been dealing with the same thing. Although I have been diagnosed with PCOS for 18 yrs I was only newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes since November. And I didn't take it well. I have spoken to my dr and nutritionist and have decided to go band to sleeve. Let me know what happens with your journey! I feel like I hit a road block with no detour.
  23. What's nectar protein?
  24. Newfmom that's wonderful news! Keep us posted. I'm just finishing getting my stuff together to give to the insurance company. Hopefully sometime this summer. I am not quite sure how long it will take for an approval as I am going from band to sleeve. Prayers to help keep everything good!! Xo
  25. Best of luck! Prayers coming your way.
