  1. 29 lbs is AWESOME!!!! Remember you did this for YOU. I don't think people means to be rude. Most people are not educated about lapband surgery. They think our weight should just fall off over night. The band is not magic but a tool. Please do not let people frustrate you into getting gastric bypass. You are doing great.
  2. I went from a size 10 to a size 9. I had to buy new shoes.

  4. I researched an online chart that shows how much a person should weigh according to height. That is also the same amount I weighed 11 years ago and looked great.
  5. I was banded on 4/3/12. First fill on 5/17/12. 4cc's in a 9cc band. I have NO restriction. Working with will power that is getting weaker by the day. Since banded I have loss 20 lbs and 7 inches.
  6. I was banded 8 weeks ago. My measurements was Bust 43.5, Waist 39, Hips 54. Today Bust 42, Waist 37, Hips 50.5. Total loss of 7 inches: Bust 1.5, Waist 2, Hips 3.5
  7. I was also on anti-depressants for fibro pain and gained alot of weight. That is one of the many side effects of anti-depressants. I started losing weight once I stop taking it. Losing weight definely help my fibro pain.

  11. My initial swellings lasted about 2 weeks. Boy did I loved having that restriction. I am now 8 weeks post op with 4cc's in a 9 cc band. I have no restriction. I can drink as much as I want without difficulty.
  12. @BOB05212 Thank you for your encouraging post. I was guilty of lack of exercising. I am get much better now. Thanks for the reminder.

  17. You are only 3 weeks post op and still healing. My doctor only recommend walking for the first 6 weeks. Check with your doc before you do any exercise besides walking. I am 8 weeks post op today. On Sunday, I was finally able to walk 2 miles at a brisk pace without passing out. We can do it.
