I scheduled the first consult with dr casillas for July 13. I'm trying to get a referral to another location.

Hello may I ask when did you get these appointments. I'm from kaiser fontana and we being sent out to other hospitals but they are all backing up at this rate I'm looking at mid august with west LA.

I asked to be referred there. If I wasn't referred from fontana, I would have to wait until the hub called me. Who knows how long that would take. It seems like kaiser fontana has the slowest process.

Yes it's for the first consult with the surgeon. I spent all day checking all the doctors at the West Los Angeles kaiser and came to the conclusion that I feel confident that all the doctors there are capable of doing this procedure. So tomorrow morning I'm going to call and see if I can't get the appointment with the doctor that has the least wait time till surgery

I yes you can choose a different location San Diego was not an option given to me. It was south bay or wla. If you wait for the hub to call you I'm sure they will let you know. I have researched the doctors at wla, I'm hoping for doctor zelada but at the point he is scheduling surgery for august. So at this point I'll take the soonest appointment. I have not been to the hospital yet. Let me know if you have any questions.

Everything has been done. All my labs were great my Vitamin D was great. My last appointment was with mental health on 5/30. I'm still waiting to be called to schedule my appointment with a Dr. In west Los Angeles because saint b's is so behind.

I weighed 269 today. Up and Down like a yoyo between 269-265

I feel you. I was supposed to lose 20% or 25 pounds. I tried low Cal. But I'm going to try Atkins next. The weight melts off when I have done it. But I LOVE bread. Oh well better do it now. I don't know how I would handle a liquid diet. Good luck

I would like to join I'm 5'2 266.6 pounds today. I'm in southern California, I am a Kaiser Permanente patient. I plan on having surgery in West Los Angeles soon hopefully. I have completed all of their requirements and waiting for the call to schedule an appointment with a surgeon. How is everyone doing? I'm anxious to follow your progress. I found an old WW boom and was sad to see that at 204 I was still a size 18. I'm a very tight 20, refuse to buy anymore clothes for now.
