  3. Take the laptop so you can let friends know how you are and TV in most hospitals suck. I was so glad that my brother brought me mine it kept me sane. Good luck
  4. Post-op days 2-7 I was able to add strained/blenderized soup and boy that was and still is very nice and so good. I am now 16 days out should be on pureed / soft but having a little trouble with it so taking it easy
  5. TV did suck at the hospital thank goodness for my computer and Hulu. Have not been to the movies in a while I do want to go see the Avengers and Dark Shadows soon I hope.

I am doing very well to I also wondered if the surgery was really done but the scars are there to let me know and how little food it takes to fill me. 4 days after surgery I was at th gym on the treadmill, cleaning house, playing with the dogs, and going and seeing a friend. I love my sleeve and the doctor too for giving me a new life.
  9. Sunkist Protein shots in 25 and 42 grams I mix with Water but you can drink the shot if you want to I thought it was a little think and sweet New whey protein shots same as above. You can get these at Vitamin stores or amazon.com They work a lot better for me to get my protein in
  10. I was able to suck on a sponge at the end of a stick it help some But you should be able to do the water test early tomorrow then if that works Ice water will taste do good. Take care get your rest and the cotton mouth does go away
  11. I did not have a drain and was told I could shower 2 days after surgery.
  12. Glad to hear you are home it is so much nicer to be home than at the hospital. Be careful and enjoy the start of your new life
  13. The gallbladder only needs about a inch and half incision and would probably come out of one that they ate going make anyhow. it would depend on how many stones and how large they are. The pain from gallstones is pretty painful friends and hubby were rolling on the floor in sever pain. Just a thiught if they think it should come out now then consider it and save yourself another surgery

There are a few different kinds liquid Protein that you can add to your Water Sunkist Protein they come in 25 and 42 grams protein zero fat and zero sugar New whey liquid Protein they come in 25 and 42 grams protein zero fat and zero sugar I got mine at the Vitamin store you can get them at amazon too or online with someone The taste good as long as you add them to water otherwise I thought they were to sweet.
  16. At 2 weeks I can have chicken that has been boiled or in the crock pot and then put through the blender and make it like chicken salad same with fish beef isn't added until week 4 harder to digest.
  17. Glad to hear you are doing good I had a hiatal hernia repair too. Glad the cyst were benign. I am 4 out and feeling terrific today I did a lot of running around and went to the gym for a walk on the treadmill. Thanks for letting us know make sure you get up and walk around. I could not do this until the day after probably why I was sore.
