  1. Thanks everyone. I saw my OBGYN today and he did give me a chewable BC pill (Generess Fe), so I will ask my surgeon on the 19th about that.
  2. Make sure you are up and walking around the house. I have read about that left side pain on here so others who have already been there will probably comment and give you more advice. Good luck on your journey!! I am headed that way!!
  3. I meant and I do believe she is correct about the milk. Have a great day ladies. .
  4. Marci is absolutely correct about Crystal Light. I am looking at my Crystal Light natural lemondade packs that I drink daily, and it reads sugar 0 g. It is also listed as one of the items you can have on liquid diet, and do I believe is she correct about the milk. There is a difference between clear and full liquid diets, so make sure you confirm which one you should be on before drinking the milk.
  5. Propel Zero is GREAT. I love the Lemon, Grape, and Strawberry Kiwi. They sell it at Wal mart. The list I have from a friend who previously had lap band states sugar free popsicles and sugar free jello during the liquid stage. I am not sure about the milk, but I do know FAT free (0%) milk is the best as far as calories, fat, and sugar intake. Since I have tried Organic Milk, I prefer it's 0% better, and it lasts longer as well as healthier. I hope this helps. Wish you the best on your banding!!
  6. Thanks so much because this is definitely a big issue for me!

Congrats, I pray I can lose 60 in 3 1/2 months. What have you done daily to lose that much?
  8. Thanks for the heads up on the cheese!
  9. I ordered the sample pack, and I too like the chicken but like Meredith said, I did not like it being lukewarm. I wanted to test it before having to do my pre and post op. I hope you like it. I mixed it with shrimp and broccoli to make a soup. I love their unflavored as well. I mixed it with SF Jello pudding and in salad Spritzers which gave it a thickened texture. I am hooked on unjury. I hope you enjoy it.
  10. What type of protein powder did you all use? Wandering if you used UNFLAVORED?
  11. unjury.com has unflavored and also http://www.mybariatricpantry.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=unflavored
  12. Thank you I will definitely check on that liquid form before the surgery.
  13. As some of you may know, I am in the pre stages of the Lap Band. First appt with surgeon not until April 19, but I have already began changing my eating habits in preparation for the surgery. I wanted to ask about multivitamins. What is a good brand of multivitamin to take before actually taking bariatric vitamins, and when is the best time of day to take the vitamins? Thanks again for all responses and support!!
  14. Congrats on such a big accomplishment!!
  15. Now That's a testimony!! Thanks for sharing!!
  16. Thanks everyone and I wish each of you continual success on your journeys!
  17. I have only been on this site for about two weeks now, but it has been such an inspiration to me. I went to my information session on March 7, and decided that day I was definitely going to make a change. I had already been researching about the Lap Band, so I began my journey with preparing smaller portions, taking in more protein and less carbs. I want to be prepared for the day I actually have my surgery. I had not been able to weigh myself on my scale, but today I can say that I am 12lbs down and was able to actually see it on the scale. Thanks so much LBT for all the information and posts!!
  18. www.femconfe.com is the chewable birth control pill. I will also discuss this with my GYN on the 3rd. I would prefer this instead of an IUD because again my tubes are tied, but I need help with excessive bleeding. Thanks again for all the responses.
  19. Thanks so much, and I pray daily and thank God for removing all doubts and fears!! Congrats on your success thus far.
  20. Thanks so much for sharing. These types of post keep me motivated to move forward with my journey. I have my 1st appt on April 19, and I am so excited!!
