Weight loss stall
I have been in a 7 week stall. I'm exercising, eating protein, and drinking water. My physican's office suggest that I stop exercising because I'm not taking in enough calories. Have you experienced this and what do you suggest to get pass the stall.

Today has FINALLY ARRIVED!
I am definitely learning that this is true @@Tlmarsh and the others who have posted. I still do not have any appetite. I do not desire to eat or drink, but I am slowly drinking my protein and water daily. The sight, smell of food from my family doesn't bother me at all. I'm taking things slowly and enjoying the idea of what my new life is going to be. I did have to get on the scale, just to see what it said. Tomorrow will be one week post op and I am down 12lbs. I wish everyone continual success.

I'm yet holding on. I was very weak today although I was constantly walking. I'm going to stay one more night to be on safe side. Trying to get my liquids in but it's very hard. I'm at about 40oz for the whole day.

Two years out and happy!
What procedure did you have? I'm also a teacher and my revision from band to RNY is on next Monday 15th. Have you ever exercised throughout this process?

What's the story behind your profile name?
I initially started my journey in 2012 with getting the lapband and my name at the time was myjourney2012. Now almost 3 years later, I'm having my lapband removed for gastric bypass, hence this is my journey again.

Very excited!
Wish you the best tomorrow. Mine will be a week later on the 15th.

African American RNY Sisters
I'm currently on my liquid diet as well. I will be revision from band to RNY as well on June 15th. I basically set up a schedule of what I would have throughout the day at what time and so far on day 3, I'm not as hungry as yesterday. How did you make it through this your last day before surgery? For others interested, My schedule consists of a bottle of water as soon as I get up because I go to the gym. Then a propel afterwards. For breakfast a Premier Protein shake and another water. Snack time a yogurt with a little protein powder. Crystal light, and for lunch a SF pudding with a little protein. More water and for dinner another Premier Shake. I guess the protein has been filling. Yesterday I had two SF jello as well because I was a little hungrier. I wish you the best on tomorrow. Please give me some feedback since you are having a revision. Thanks

I'm also a SPED teacher and like you said even with the laid back moments, I couldn't imagine going back after one week. How are things going for you now, post-op?
