  1. My hubby actually helped me make my decision. I had been on high blood pressure, and diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. He said baby I want you here a little longer, so I think you should do it. Now everytime he see's me he gets excited. I was blessed with a great husband no complaints here!
  2. Just keep in mind you didn't gain it in a day. So if you don't keep that time frame don't get discouraged!
  3. Yes, that is awesome. It's nice to see the results and it's good to take pictures so that when you have a moment of weakness you know where your coming from.
  4. Yes, it does get better your body has to stabalize itself. You went through a major surgery. I have lost quit a bit myself, I just try to get all my protein in and make sure I take my vitamins daily. Have your levels check to, just to make sure your not deficent.
  5. Yeah that part is never easy, I had my surgery done a month prior to you so congrats on your new journey. What Protien shakes have you tried? The only one that I can tolerate is Atkins Advantage Cafe Carmel is my favorite

  9. Your lucky I can't do rice and I'm not mad about that either. I haven't tried a steak either, I think I'll wait a little longer before I venture out to eat a steak

  11. You are so right, when I upped my calories I noticed I started loosing. This is definitely the key especially when your working out
  12. If your working out, you have to increase your calories because your using more energy. But first and foremost make sure you eat your protein first. And do not go back to the unhealthy foods that got you here. Try not to graze but if your hungry always do protein or healthy snaks like fruit, yogurt etc...
  13. Your not eating enough, the more you work out the more calories you need. Trying eating a little more and you will see the difference
  14. This post is like all post, everyone has their own opinion. So just look at the post you want to look at or answer the ones you want to answer. No matter how annoying or stupid a post is everyone has feelings and should not be afraid to post whatever they want.

  16. Are you sticking to your Protein? Or are you eating a lot of carbs? Not to have lost since Oct is huge, I know we all have stalls but that is a pretty large stall. Also if you know some of the reasons on why your not loosing, take accountablity and just do it. You've come to far not to go all the way. Good luck on your journey
  17. I am kicking up my workout, I did an hour of spinning tonight. I am also concentrating on my protien even more. I'm hoping for no more stall as well. Good luck!
  18. You are so right, sometimes my hubby sit's and watch me eat. When I put the fork down and push away he's like really your done? I no longer order my own meal I just eat off his plate and we save money can't beat it!

  22. You are absolutely right! I lay in bed sometimes and hear the gurgles etc.. and my hubby look at me and say really? I just laugh and say yes would you prefer it this way or out the other end? Take your poison...LOL!
  23. Yes it does become second nature now even when I go out, I drink until my food come and then get my water In a to go truck so that when I can drink I can. It's just a process and when you do it long enough it's nothing.

    Juny I am sorry to hear that your going through this. It's hard enough with the stress of the upcoming surgery. You have us for your support, and yes your not asking for permission this is something that is personal and yes your going to have those that don't agree but that's on them. My family thought I was going to change my mind and when that wonderful day of 11/6 got here they quickly changed their tune and supported me. Stay on your path and let no one stop you from your goal!
