  1. I'm on day 3, and it does get better. Try holding a pillow on your stomach as you get up, it does help. You're not being a baby...it HURTS! I, too, was lulled into a sense of this was going to be a piece of cake, when I heard about a woman vaccuuming her house the next day after surgery. I guess it's just different for everybody.
  2. OK...I had my surgery Wednesday and I can't even imagine riding a bike, but more power to ya!! Glad it worked out ok not having someone there with you
  3. Good luck Kelly!
  4. Helen here....I was banded on Valentine's Day this year
  5. I live in Quinlan, which is south of Royse City/Greenville, north of Terrell, and 1 hour east of Dallas. I was banded by Dr. Benavides in Richardson on Valentine's Day. I did 2 wks of a modified liquid diet, and lost about 5 lbs (wasn't very religious about it, because I was starving), but he was pleased with it.
  6. My name is Helen and I just found this forum through Google. I was banded on Valentine's Day in Dallas. I figure I'll never forget my band date I started this journey at 234, and from pre-op diet to today, I have lost 9 lbs. I'm already sick of the Protein shakes and was looking for something different, which led me here. Looking forward to learning even more about this process I've undertaken :girl_hug:
