  2. Try to distract yourself. Drink some water. Go for a walk. Etc.
  3. Vladykamark
  4. I was allowed lunch meats two weeks after surgery. But I found them very salty. Mustard helps, but who needs all that salt?
  5. Congratulations on the weight loss. Keep up the good work.
  6. I'm ten weeks out. Was walking 2.5 miles a day and down 55#. Just in a funk. Have not walked for two weeks. Tired of the limited diet. Perhaps I need to start cooking at home. Tired of Wendy's chili and taco bells refried beans. Just depressed and lost motivation. Ugh!
  7. You always weigh less in the morning so it comes as no surprise the weight is higher later in the day. I record my weight as it drops based on what I weigh after my morning walk.
  8. Drinking with meals makes the food pass through the stomach quicker and you will not get all the nutritional value. Also you will be hungry sooner.
  9. Sleeved February 24. Pre op weight 285. day of surgery 272 as of today 231. Thanks be to God. Surgery with Dr Garcia.
  10. Please include me. Sleeved February 24, 2012.
  11. Congratulations. May God grant you good health and many years.
  12. Sleeved February 24 in Tijuana. Down from 285 to 233. Could use some ideas as I don't care to cook.
  13. I was sleaved by Dr Garcia on Feb 24. Before the preop diet 285 lbs. day of surgery 272. Now 237. I have not thrown up once. I was up walking a half hour after surgery and walked a lot. They kept me comfortable and I never had any pain. Thanks be to God!
  14. I flew first class, but used points to purchase the tickets. They kept offering snacks and meal but I stick to the water or apple juice. I had not problems whatsoever. I could have flown coach but first class was much more comfortable.
  15. I went alone and was sleeved by Dr Garcia. The staff was wonderful. Just make sure you have a contact number for them when you go to the hotel. Also I was taken early to the airport and had a five hour wait. But I think you can negotiate your departure to the airport.
  16. I also had a wonderful experience with Dr Garcia. Never any pain walked a lot out of boredom. Only knew I had surgery because of the restrictions. Excellent staff. The nurses were even quite amusing and jovial.
  17. Walking makes the ole bowels move. Sometimes I barely make it home after a two mile walk.
  18. Dr Fernando Garcia supplied all the post op mess as well.
  19. Thanks for the support all! Tomorrow is another day. I hope to look into some other pretein options.
