  1. I have lost 11 pds and have been stalled for over a week BUT i have lost 9 inches.
  2. Yes i had it done its called evaseal also my terrific surgeon does a graham patch. 18 days out and doing great. He used a 38 bougie and i dont have any acid reflux issues
  3. So glad i get my protein thru food i am so sick of shakes. As far as finding out what our new stomachs can hold is the cottage cheese test. Did it today and mine holds a little under 1/2 cup. I hope i learn my full signal before i go back to work. Whats your full signal?
  4. Since I am short my protein req are 45-55 so far pretty easy to obtain w out nasty shakes. 18 days out and so far nothing bothers my sleeve. I have thrown up a few times w that one bite too many not fun. Such a learning process. One more week home to figure it put then work on Oct 8
  5. We are in the dreaded 3 wk stall. Nothing to freak out over.
  6. Got cha beat on the short side i am 4'11" goal weight is 110 got 70 more pds to go!

  9. Im 15 days out and doing great. Pains here and there but ok. Getting my protein and liquids in ok. Lost 11 pds since surgery and 9.5 inches since i measured in late aug. So happy but worried about going back to work oct 8 and eating at work. Guess it will take alot of planning on my part
  10. I get soft foods in 5 days cant wait. Having to water dowm crystal like its too sweet
  11. well - I"m healing great - never quit smoking prior to surgery and still smoking. doctor says I'm doing great with healing and there were no problems with surgery and that is all went like text book - did the breathing exercises - and am fine. to each their own....flame away. As i become healthier diet wise I may at that time make the decision for chantix and such - but I'm not there yet.
  12. Also lost 1" from neck and 14pds im very pleased. Stomach still bloated a bit so no inches lost there yet. Need to walk more i know but just really concentrating on healing up first.
  13. Day 8 here. Doing great have zero nausea and stopped pain meds on day 5. Incisions sore but not unbearable. Not concerned with getting all my protein in yet but doing good with my fluid intake. Thought i was lactose intolerent but did stop shakes and and few bites of yogurt and did not have to run to the bathroom so i concluded that i was just not ready for protein shakes Looking forward to losing the weight safely.
  14. Just wondering if it will go back to normal in a few weeks or so. Was looking forward to having yogurts and cottage cheese in my soft stage.
  15. Mine was monday. Doing great no problems w fluids and now that i have lactose free milk i can also get in 2 protein shakes since im on full liquids.
  16. Tried my shakes yesterday and ended up in the bathroom for an hout.lovely flowers got lactose free milk today and had a shake so far so good
  17. Walking all around the house will wall outside when i feel more human
  18. Day 4 and had a shower boy did that feel good. Got all my fluids in yesterday and been logging it all. Been walking all over the house and will walk outside tomorrow. Still in pain but staying on top of it w meds. So far so good
  19. Yes its a new chapter so happy i feel great staying on top of pain
  20. Dr mardsen did a great job. No nausea little pain couldnt be any happier
  21. So poor nurses couldn't start iv so antheologist had to put a iv in my foot then we waited for a pic line after the surgery. Dr said i did great. I was up Walking the halls once the pic line was in. I asked for no catheter so that was nice. Great nurses. Today is day 3 and pain is a little worse but to be expected. Drinking easy peasy. Will take shower later. Thank god for drugs. Kids came home w chick a fila last night. Thanks didnt really bother me.
  22. All went well. Home now. Pain minimal. Drinking fluids fine. Hope everyone else who had surgery monday is doing well
  23. Little nervous anxious and fear. Wish me luck.
  24. Probably shouldn't be watching Coma now haha
