  1. The whole Mexico experience was wonderful, no fears and no worries.. I will never forget the care and hospitality.. I have never experienced that here in the states... Will be one week post op tomorrow and I'm doing very well minus the dumping syndrome but i think I've found the culprit ..sugar, won't have anything with more than 3 grams of sugar in it...good luck to everyone else.. Remember walk, sip and walk.. Lol .. Oh how could I forget the worst part of it all is the drain you have to have a few days .. Otherwise not bad at all
  2. I was sleeved on march 27th and I feel wonderful with the exception of dumping syndrome but I think ive found the culprit and I'm feeling 100% better. I'm starting creamy soups no chunks along with full liquids today as instructed by my nut.. Im not gonna have any food until day 22. I've heard of people going back for post op check up and having food in there staple line wich can cause a delay or difficulty in the healing process.. I'm not gonna take that chance.
  3. My nut said it was fine but to use a non dairy creamer and to wait until ur 6-7 days post op
  4. The non dairy creamer has 5 grams of sugar but I'm gonna take everyone's advice and introduce things one at a time.
  5. Seannie, I just started protein shakes yesterday, that maybe it as well.. Ugh I'm very nervous drinking herbal tea and water until I figure this one out.. Glad someone understands what I'm going thru.. Thanks

  9. Sleevers, do get dumping syndrome it should be mild but temporary... I wont be able to speak with my surgeon until Monday
  10. Nothing unusual, I started drinking coffee the doctor said it was ok as long as I used a non dairy creamer, I used a non dairy creamer French vanilla maybe that's it..ugh
  11. You may be dehydrated, a woman that was sleeved same day as me had the sane exact symptoms 3 days post op. Doc said age was dehydrated gave her an IV.. Hour and half later she was 100% better
  12. 6 days post op and feeling fabulous minus the dumping syndrome.. I have been dumping for two days nonstop and it's making me miserable. I haven't read any complaints of dumping on this site at all. I do know another sleever that is dumping as well .. Anyone know how to reduce this dumping?
  13. Arrived here in Tijuana yesterday before noon. Crossing the border was easy. I'm staying at the Marriott not far from hospital Angeles. The hotel is very nice, heated pool, all the HBO channels (English) and great tasting coffee. Everyone has been very nice. I met some other sleevers as well. Coming alone hasn't been too bad so far. The next time I post I'll be sleeved.. Good luck to the rest of you
