Shortypants...not that i can say i was running around here (i am in a wheelchair until i loose more weight due to back and knee issues) but with that said: Yesterday i could hardly get out of bed... Previous days, would walk the length of the house and back no problem...was pretty proud of myself...yesterday i could barely walk the length of the living room...it felt like i had cement shoes on....(that was the long story...lol) ... short story : yes.. Hope today is better for you...

  8. It takes awhile to get all things organized.. Protein .. Water .. Walking .. Vitamins .. it's exhausting mentally for awhile..but soon it all falls into place... Like the old saying : just take it a day at a time! (((healing hugs)))

  16. New topic for us over 50's.....or anyone!!!! I have heard that after the sleeve, people tend to be cold(er) all the time.......Question: how long after surgery does this happen? ....... i am always hot - hate to be in the sun - just adds that much more heat. When i sleep i have to have a fan blowing on me and only use a sheet (if even that)....i am 2 weeks post-op today and it still has not happened... Does it depend on the weight loss? just needing a little info.... Thanks

Sorry still in hospital but best place for you to be when the doctors are not for sure what's wrong....as stated above, you can get another job, but we can't get another Jimmy....   24. I am also in WA but i had a great doctor...didn't sugar coat anything but didn't hold back either.... I guess the point i want to make is: if you did not feel like the doctor was "speaking with your best interest in mind". Find another doctor! ... There are more doctors in WA... Good ones, who will praise you for taking the first step to a healthier you... Good luck and let me know if there is anything i may do to help..
