I am June 11th. I am self pay so I've known the date, but being so close is huge and so exciting. I felt super deprived yesterday (2nd day of pre op liquid only), but the scale this morning made me feel terrific. I am so grateful to have my conscience back regarding eating healthy. I finally care and have hope again.

This is my first post ever, so thanks and all the best to you!

Speaking of scale, mine died! I'm seven days out pre-op shake and the batteries died. My parents are coming by tomorrow and said they have 4 triple A batteries so I really have no clue. I stepped on my scale this morning and it said I gained 2 pounds then it did something weird. I could not have gained 2 pounds on 600 calories a day with all the exercise I am doing just having 3 Protein shakes a day. I stepped on it again and it said I was 231.5, then it v'd out. I stepped on it again and it died.

So I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
