I just had my first fill 2 days ago. I just ran 2 miles on the treadmill...and my port area is very sore....is this normal? I'm a little worried.

Yes its on my left side as well. Should I be worried..or just assume its a sign of being full?

It seems like lately I've been getting side aches after I eat. I'm just over 2 wks post op. Does anyone else have this problem...or know why I'm getting them?

That happend to my aunt after her surgery...it was a latex allergy....u might have had the same reaction....

How weird..I have stiches...there doing good..but was wondering when or how long it takes to dissolve..

Trying to get through this....can anyone tell me when the stiches dissolve...how long?

My Surgery is March 23rd....sooo ready. This Pre-Op diet..is a tough one...but there is light at the end of the tunnel! either way i'm excited...and ready to start my journey of a healthy life!!!

Hello, I'm having my surgery done in Richardson, TX on the 23rd of March. But I live in San Diego, CA. I was hoping I could get some reccomendations for a Dr here in the San Diego Area for my fills? Does anyone know of a good Dr they would reccommend? Thanks soo much! Kristi

***..OR PPO?...i was also denied...because in my insurance stipulation..i had to be at my current weight/BMI for 3 consecutive years...which to me is horrible..and NOT standard of care. Its very frustrating and emotionally draining..hang in there...because there are alot of options.

I had my EGD on Wed...and yes I have a hernia..so surgery is scheduled for March 23rd. Ready to start my new life...just very nervous about the pain and trying to walk after surgery...

Cowgirl, I love to run...and usually work out 5 days a week. When do you think I should start running again..maybe 2 months to be safe? also..what about push ups, and sit ups...should I wait on that too?

wow Alli....I was in the same situation as you. My insurance denied me as well. I am doing the same test on Wed with the camera to see if i have hernia. My question to you is...how long after you had that test done did you get the surgery? I'm also going to True Results in Richardson, TX.... they are really amazing.

Cowgirl, what did you do to have a port revision? How did you push yourself too hard?
