Haydee.. need to make one thing clear. The meds Bob takes for panic attacks are totally different than the ones he takes for depression. He takes Antivan for panic attacks and takes it when he feels one coming on. The pills for depression, he takes every day. Different issues... different pills.

Three hots and a cot.... which doesn't keep with my 5-6 small meals a day so I'm not goin'!!:thumbdown::tt2:

Haydee.. the Bobster has had many anxiety attacks and they are just as you described....BUT.. go to a doctor and get it checked out. It's nothing to fool with. There are meds for the attacks and he takes them when he feels the attack coming on.

Good Morning, Violets.. Kat.. that is priceless! Good for you for standing up for yourself like that!! PamELa... since this last fill, I notice I can't eat things I used to. I fixed myself a pork steak last night and ate little bites with applesauce. I could only eat four tiny bites before it started with that feeling. I pb'd and said that's it. Can't do pork. I left the rest of the meat for Bob when he got home. He finished it, said it was just delicious and proceeded to feel stuck the rest of the evening. At last he knows what it's like to be restricted. I havent weighed myself lately cause of all the junk I had while watching the debates. This Thursday we'll be with another couple and she's having lapband surgery on 10/10 so I know we'll eat sensibly there. Got to go get some breakfast and get ready for my hospital shift. Everyone have a great day!! Sure is Fall like here today... 50 degrees, cloudy and the colors on the trees are getting more and more prominent.

2 members of my support group were banded at Harper and they have not much good to say about it. They didn't like the follow up care. If you would like more info from them pm me and I'll give you their email address.

Good afternoon, Violets.. Ethan is napping so I get a chance to get on here. The internet went down here for a few hours this morning. I decided to take Ethan out for a ride to go see PoPPa at the Dems party headquarters where he was volunteering. So we got a nice ride, he got an Obama button and a balloon. We came home and then went out in the back yard where I chopped all the flowers down in preparation for winter :thumbup: and Ethan dug in the sand and dirt. We were out for about an hour and then came in and he had some lunch. Now he's sleeping and I can catch up on some things. So far today I have had... Breakfast...1 egg scrambled with a slice of cheese and 1/2 a turkey sausage patty crumbled in. 11:30 a Special K Protein bar 1 glass of Crystal Light and 1/2 glass of 1% chocolate milk I'll have some sliced turkey wrapped in swiss cheese for lunch at 2:30 It's nice to look forward to eating when the time between is short. It sure makes me stop grazing every time I walk into the kitchen. Haydee, wish I could help you. I know there is a way to retrieve deleted things, but I sure don't know how. Laura.. we're all anxious to hear how it went at the docs today. Michelle... I wish I could go more than a few days without weighing, but I too need the accountability. I know how frustrating it is when you do everything right and the scales don't reflect it... But I just need to know. TracyK... tell Macy I don't have any loose teeth, but I have lots of gold ones!! That oughta interest her! TracyinKS... you can get bit by a Black Widow spider and not know it????? :thumbup::eek: Now that's scary! Where's Susie today????? Got to go finish up a load of laundry. Good Morning, Violets.. I'm up early to wait for Ethan. Laura..hope you get some relief at the docs today. Glad you're cutting down on the smokes. I stopped cold turkey the day I found out I was pregnant and have only had one relapse in 31 years. But I do know how difficult it is. Especially with the stress you are under with your health and eating. Terry .. I have sung Ave Maria at many a wedding. It really is a beautiful song. I'm glad the service went well. TracyK...hope you're feeling better today. Try the 5-6 small meals a day and see if that helps with your eating. PamELa...hugs to my roomie. I know it's a difficult time for you. We're all here for you. Denise...the pics are so cute!! Can't wait to hold another newborn in my arms in just 5 months!! Jane..it's good that you can put things in perspective. We all have done well with the band.. no doubt about that. We just have to remember how far we've come and that will help us on the last leg of the journey. Everyone I've missed... hugs to you too. I was banded in Port Huron 4/10/07. DH was banded 5/22/07. We just went back for our 4th fill last Monday. Can't say enough good things about Port Huron. We are 4 hours away, but it's really worth the drive for us. I have started my own support group here in Alpena. We meet once a month and have had as many as 17 in attendance, though the average is about 12. I was 59 when I was banded too. My good friend, who is 65, is being banded 10/10/08 in Port Huron. It will be great to be able to support her in her journey.

Checking in before I head for my nap. TracyK... the six meals are... breakfast (usually oatmeal or an egg) 3 hours later some kind of protein.. usually yogurt or string cheese 3 hours later lunch... tuna or tilapia ... protein and greens 3 hours later... string cheese or yogurt or tuna 3 hours later dinner...protein and greens 3 hours later....string cheese or yogurt or tuna So basically eating the right things, but every 3 hours so you tend to eat less at a meal and feel satisfied... especially knowing you can have something again in just 3 hours. My timing is usually 8:00, 10:30, 1:00, 4:00, 7:00, 9:00 p.m. I can skip the 9 p.m. if I want to or if I sleep later in the morning and throw the whole system off. I get at least 5 meals a day in no matter what. Off to napland.. Catch you all later!

Good Morning, Violets.. We got back home last night and I was too pooped after reading all the posts to do anything except update the countdown. The weekend went very well. All the churches in our area send delegates to this meeting and we have our business meeting and a program. Bob and his co-pastor planned the program.. Reuniting the Children of Abraham. A Christian woman, a Muslim woman and a Jewish woman talked about how all our faiths are descended from Abraham and what it is like to live their faith in the world today. It was very interesting and informative. I sang a couple of solos for the worship times and when everything was done and we were ready to go home, Bob and I heaved a sigh of relief that everything went well. We stopped at the Casino on the way home to do our traditional $20 a piece gambling. We walked out with $80 thanks to Bob's hitting the quarter slots. So doubling our money and walking away was just fine with us! We stopped at a fruit and veggie stand on the way home and got some honey crisp apples.. yummy. We were pretty good with eating during the weekend, except for debate night where we grazed on unhealthy stuff for a couple of hours. Today we're back on the 6 small meals. Terry, hope all went well with the memorial service yesterday. PamELa.. sorry to hear about your dad. My prayers are with you. Laura... CONGRATS to you on your degree!!!! Your baby has one smart, slim momma!! TracyK.. hope you're feeling better today.. good for you on the walking exercise each school day! 2 weeks from today we'll be on a cruise ship again.. wooo hooooo! Good morning again, Violets.. Just back from my nail appointment. Wooo hoooo Tracy on the PS!!! I don't think I'll ever be getting a TT. Insurance won't cover it and I'm too old to worry about a flat stomach for a bikini!! I'm happy with how things are shrinking and certainly don't want to go through surgery again unless it's absolutely necessary. I tried to go in the pool, but it's down to 78 and after being in it at 90 yesterday, I just couldn't force myself. So the heater is off, the pump is off and the cover is off. It's done for the season. We'll have someone come next week to winterize it and shut it down. I did get in the hot tub and do some exercises though so it wasn't a total loss. We're leaving in a couple of hours for the weekend. Will be back Saturday night. Everyone have a good weekend... will check in when I get back or if I have a spare moment at the hotel and can get online, I will. You already figured that out, didn't you???:crying::tt2:

Last checkin of the night for me too. Choir went well tonight. We went out to dinner and I had tilapia and a cup of potato sausage soup. Everything went down ok and stayed down. I am eating a little bit of watermelon now, but it's not going down very well. While we were at the restaurant, the waitress mentioned that it was raining cats and dogs.. grrrrrrrrr my pool cover is off and the heater is still on. Bob is on his way home from an out of town meeting so I'll have to wait for him to help me put the cover on. I got home in time to let Jetta in from the garage, but not before she got a couple of bites of wood out of the trim around the door. She's gonna drive me nuts with her paranoia about storms!! We leave tomorrow for an out of town meeting so I'll be behind on the countdown for a couple of days. I'll catch it up when I get back. Everyone have a good night.. sleep well.
