Good Morning, Violets. I'm up and showered. Just have to get dressed and put my make up on and do my hair. I'm pumped to go baby shopping!!! I'm going to get Ethan's Christmas shopping done today too. Laura.. you're way ahead of the game! I don't have the energy to think of Christmas yet, though I'm rehearsing for four Christmas gigs already. December is going to be a blur to me. I just finished some ham salad for breakfast. No crackers.. just 1/2 cup of ham salad. I'm taking my Ocean Spray White Cranberry/Peach along with me. Will try and get back on when we get home, but I expect it will be late and I'll be pooped! Good evening, Violets. We're back from the movie and I really don't recommend it. It's the new James Bond movie, Quantum Solace. It was just all action, no plot and no humor. Very boring. And I LOVE 007 movies. I'm going to go watch the Pistons game and then hit the hot tub and bed. We're going baby furniture shopping tomorrow!! I'll be gone all day. Will check in when I get back home if it's not too late. Have a great evening. Sleep well.

I'm back from running errands. Got everything done and we're back home and then realized we didn't go to the book store! And that was #1 on the list.. oh well, we'll go before the movie tonight. PamELa... no school here today because of St. Antler's day. Rifle deer season starts tomorrow and all the whackos are on the road driving up here so the kids get a day off. Plus most of them are in the upper grades are at hunting camps today anyway. TracyK.. it's beautiful!! Such a deal you got!

Nope.. never heard of the N series until I looked at the link you just gave. The book I'm talking about is Just After Sunset. It's a collection of 13 short stories. It got excellent reviews in People magazine, if that means anything.

Woooo hooooooo Stephen King's new book is out. I'm headed to the book store as soon as the Bobster gets home!! Had ham salad and a few crackers for lunch plus some mandarin orange segments. Just waiting again til I can drink my water. It's really dreary here today. Temp is 50, but no sun in sight. I think snow is on it's way..

I'm going to continue bagging up clothes for St. Vincent's. I have two garbage bags full already and haven't even started in my closets. This was just stuff I had in the laundry room ready for a garage sale that didn't happen. So out it goes to a worthy cause. I had an egg with a slice of cheese for breakfast and am now waiting to start my first water of the day. The Bobster is at work and when he gets home we're going out for a fish dinner and then to see Quantum Solace. It won't be Sean or Pierce, but any Bond film is a good one. Catch you later...

Good Morning, Violets... I got up at 7 to let the garage dog out.. (she sleeps on the floor by our bed at night now) and stopped to read the posts. Terry.. glad you're back. We missed you. But then when I went back to bed I had the weirdest dream about the Violets. I went to the dentist which is a long story in itself about a new dentist with cowboy boots and then I went to make another appointment and ended up at a chinese restaurant and there were Michelle, Pam, Kat and TracyK. I was so suprised to see them and we had a good visit, but then when we were leaving, it dawned on me.. (I'm a slow study), that here they were in Alpena and I didn't know they were going to be there. Michelle was heading back to Chicago and she had had her eyebrows done and cost her $2.50 They were long and curly..... eyebrows!!! Kat told me there had been posts about the meeting, but they were written cryptically. I started to walk home being really upset and then realized my car was back at the restaurant. Then I woke up. Weird, weird, weird!!! I didn't get up again until 9:30. Ethan comes at noon for the rest of the day. Everyone have a good one. Will check back later.

Tracy... how did it go today?? Did the doc prescribe meds?? I'm anxious to hear what the counselor and doctor say about Robby and how they can help. You're doing all the right things for you and for Robby. I'm proud of you!!!

Good afternoon, Violets.. I'm just up after taking a nap with Ethan. He's watching some TV now so I get a chance to post. DD Kris's blood pressure was a little high and she was concerned that the baby hadn't moved for 3 days (a fact she had not shared ahead of time.... "I didn't want to worry you"... :thumbup:) Doctor listened for the heartbeat and it was strong. Kris's BP was up when the nurse took it, but back down when the doctor took it. Doc says it goes up because of all the blood flowing through the heart now because of the baby. She gave her a "kick count" to do. I had never heard of it before. She has to lay on her left side for 1 to 2 hours and count the number of kicks she feels. She says she felt fluttering during those 3 days, but not the kicks as previous to that. Doc didn't seem worried, but is having her do a 24 hour urine test just as a precaution. Kris worries about every little thing. She gets that from her father. The Bobster was hovering over her when he got home. Kris went back to work for the afternoon and has tomorrow off. TRACYK!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU??????????? You're always here in the morning first thing! Good Morning, Violets.. Ethan arrived at 8 this morning and I wasn't expecting him til noon. DD Kris is here and we're going to the doctor to have her blood pressure checked. The Bobster will take Ethan with him when he picks up our friend to take her to her radiation treatment. After that it will be Ethan time all day. I'm glad I was able to get some things done yesterday when he wasn't here. I'll check back when we get back from the doctor. Michelle... I had NOTHING to do with us getting kicked out of the buffet. That would be dear Haydee trying to say HOR-ticulture. Some people have no sense of humor!! BBL...

Good evening, Violets.... Just home from choir and dinner. Michelle... what the heck you been drinking today???? And no, you're not the only one not wanting to listen to the news. Each day it seems to get worse. Today I spent the day calling places to rearrange payment due dates. The Bobster will be done with his church in January and we have to rearrange bills because of one less paycheck. I didn't want to be late on any payments so I was on the phone a lot today to get things moved around. Things will be better when I start getting... **gasp*** Social Security in July. Haydee, you're so right. No matter what is happening in our lives, it's always like coming home when I get on here and see everyone's posts. We've all bonded in a special way and look past each other's faults. Course I don't have any, but that's another story.:frown::tt2::mad::thumbup: We went out to dinner with my friend Kathy and her husband. She is 5 weeks out from surgery and she ate a fried walleye dinner with a salad and redskin potatoes. I couldn't believe how much she ate. She is NOT following the diet plan from our nutritionist at all. I'm not going to say anything, but reality is going to come crashing in on her when she goes next month for a fill. I can't see her losing any weight this month when she goes for her weigh in. I eat less than half what she eats and I can't get the scale to budge anywhere but up. What's wrong with this picture??????? Time to go watch some tv with the Bobster and then hit the hot tub. Everyone have a great evening. Sleep well.

Good Morning, Violets.. I'm so pissed at myself this morning. My weight is back up to 181 and it's my own fault. My head hunger is getting the best of me and the easiest way to stop it is with crackers or chocolate milk. I'm sick and tired of hovering around the same numbers on the scale. I wrote in my journal that today is day one and I have to prove to myself that I can do it again. So I'm off to get a legal and healthy breakfast and then head to flute rehearsal. I have vowed to myself that I will be at goal when my new grandbaby arrives. Today is DAY ONE. Everyone have a great day and remember to make good choices... But then again, it took me hours and hours to get there, by which time I had missed all the festivities. Just back from Bell Choir and finished a cup of creamy wild rice soup with corn and smoked sausage. I'm off to singing rehearsal now. BBL.........
