I got surgery may 3rd so far so good. I am not hungry like i was before. And when you do drink something you get full fast. I do have pain but everyday its getting better just to let you know. If you have your mind made up already you can do it. The gas pain whats hurts me the most at night its bad lol. But i hear it gets better cant wait till i can eat and still have the weight ccome off. Oh yea I weight may 3rd on surgery day 244 and today I weight 234 WOW can you believe that.

Less than 8 hours to go and ill be waiting to get sleeved ya meeee.......

Yea i am still feeling pain but its getting better yea me. I am not hungry let me say this again I am not hungry. Lol I just had to hear myself so that again. I drink a little and I am full its amazing last week i thought i was going to die on a clear liquid diet and here i am almost two weeks in and ok . Now my mind still wants to eat my my stomach don't that i hear will take time your mind catching up. I dont know if any one else is having the runns that is making me mad so the doctor want to see me early she thought i was on full liquid diet and she thought that than it will make some sense of me having that with milk but on clear liquid she just wants to make sure oh i mean the nurse she wants to make sure. I think its my body getting back to what is going to be normal . While we will see what happens . Anyways if anyone having the same thing let me know. But other tha that everything is a ok.

Hi everyone after thinking the pro and cons with all three surgerys. I decided to do the sleeve it best for me all of this pain and knowing that I recent got news that I have type 2 diabetes. Its time to do what I have to a new lease one life is good for me and my family. So I have my first appt on March 19th for my doctor and get the other appts. So ill blog back on that day let you know how it goes.

I'm may 3rd Dr. Minkin in St. Louis. I'm also nervous yet excited.

Thanks everyone I am so nervous it's like it is really happening. My friend that was doing it with me said she is going to wait for a while now but she said she will still be there for me. I am tried of all this pain people say you don't look big but i can sure feel it in my knees and my back it hurts so bad i cant wait for he pain to stop.Ill keep ya'll updated i start my clear liquid date Saturday. Friday last day of solid wow I cant believe it. I hear the first few days is harder so we will see.@ Kat congrats on your approval it will come sooner than you know.

Oh I wish there were better answers...everyone says the pre op liquid diet is the worst part...haven't been thru it yet myself...hang in there!!

I hope you get a date soon. Sounds like you are doing fantastic with the diet and resisting the M and Ms. I started really trying to lose some weight before my last of my 6 month appointments the day after Easter. I had three kids with tons and tons of candy in the house. I finally had my husband throw a bunch of it in a campfire and let the kids watch it all melt. They actually really enjoyed that. I am mad that they just came out with coconut hershey kisses. Chocolate and coconut is my downfall and there could not be a less healthy treat. I had one at a party the other night when everyone else had cake so I justified it like that but don't you know I wanted the whole bowl.

So i lost 10 pounds by changing my eating habits. I know its not much but its a start. Have my appt tomorrow with the doctor to get my date. All my insurance papers go in hoping for a May date yea me.

Its April already and i am following what I was told it was hard to change some foods and not eat the thing I like but its been getting easier and yesturday I seen those M&M but I didnt buy them yea meee.Not looking forward of that liquid diet but ready to get this weight off. I am wondering how much weight I lose just following some of the changes that was told to me. Ill see on April 16th its really not to far away.
