Afternoon everyone! So lastnight after preparing to go to bed I decided to change my hairsytle(braids) and as im reaching up taking my hair out the ponytail....I notice that I suddenly start to feel very tired so I stopped for a few minutes...Of course thinking its just normal I take a couple sips of water and start again....out of nowhere I broke out into a cold sweat, my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest because it was rapidly beating soooo fast,I became very short of breath and feeling extremely nauseous!! I thought I was going to faint literally! So I quickly laid back on my bed and tried to relax with utter fear gripping me tight...I tried to relax and it calmed down some. I then got up and took a phenergan(nausea pill) and laid down...I eventually was able to walk around and began to feel somewhat normal but I ended up falling asleep still feeling a little nauseous...I woke up feeling fine a litle sluggish from the Phenergan of course but fine other than that....Im 2 weeks out post op and I have done extremely well not having any problems and have actually lost 40lbs already and thats including pre-op liquid diet before surgery..Ive been extremely active since I came home from the hospital and walk everyday so this has really scared me....PLEASE...if anyone has any clue or has even possibly experinced anything like this BY ALL MEANS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CHIME IN!!!! thanks in advance to you all

Hi there!!! Yes all those symptoms went away!!!!Lol!!! It just took some time!!! I'm doing great! Yay I'm so happy for you!!! Will be praying you have a speedy recovery!!!

I had the same problem this morning and I got so frustrated...I eventually just logged in on my laptop to post to a thread! I also have the mobile app on my iphone

Oh Ok...it's so good to know someone else has experienced it...if it continues to happen I will definitely give my doctor a call..you best believe I won't be reaching up anymore this week..except to put on or take off my shirt!!! Lol...thank you for your response!!!!

Couldn't help but to do a double take and laugh at "good weed"... I knew it was a typo!!! Congrats and I'm happy for!!! Yes it is a great feeling I'm only 2 weeks post op and I'm already almost 2 full sizes down!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Congrats Ms Deni!!! I can relate to your whole post!!! I was sleeved on oct 16!!! I'm going back to work tomorrow only for a couple hours a day. Bc I feel I'm up for it...but oddly today I slept in until after 1pm and after taking my shower I became extremely fatigued!!! But I got a little more energy after eating a little food!!!So I will definitely be taking it easy but I wish you the best of luck!!!! And keep up the great informative postings!!!!

Congrats on your weight loss also!!! I lost alot on the liquid pre-op diet!!!i lost about 24lbs on the 3 week liquid diet and then since the week of surgery which is 2 weeks ago exactly tomorrow I've lost a total of 17lbs as of this morning!!

I'm amazed and relieved to know being two weeks post op that I'm not the only 1 that has done it!!! I did it with Doritos and I didn't feel bad after doing it either and for those who say its a disorder my response is....whatever...I had a moment and it happened only once I'm sure it will happen again but I see nothing wrong with it as long it's not something that's being done on the regular....I've lost a total of 40lbs so far and my surgery date was October 16 and emergency surgery October 19 and feeling really Good!!! Hi everybody Thank ya Jesus I made it y'all!!! I had a rough first night but I am a lot better tonight!!! I'm so happy to be joining the losers bench!!!!! I'm having a problem swallowing so the doctor is keeping me here until I can swallow liquids......Anyone else have surgery yesterday or today??????

I was sleeved on Tuesday and my doctor repaired my hernia at the same time but when I woke up in recovery I was very nauseated and was vomiting a lot but we began to notice that all the fluids I was trying to swallow would not go down, everything just sat in the top of my throat and it felt like I had big bubble or gas and major heart burn whenever I did try to drink water he thought my esophagus may have been swollen or the hernia repair may have been a little to tight but I couldn't even swallow the liquid meds or water by mouth so he kept me 2 extra days to give me time to heal and to make sure I would eventually be able to swallow but it progressively got worse, so on Thursday he scheduled me a upper gi and that's when they realized that my stomach was pushed up into my esophagus and he said they would be performing emergency surgery to go in and pull my stomach down...he said it happened when I was gagging and vomiting and it was so aggressive when I did that it pushed my stomach up....sorry for such a long answer to a simple question...but I'm doing so good the doctor just came in this morning and told me he's letting me go home bc I can swallow and tolerate all liquids.????....I'm so excited!!!!

Thanks everybody.! Hopefully I'll be going home today! I've been in hospital since Tuesday and had a second emergency surgery Friday morning!!! Feeling really good please for me guys I'm so ready to go home!!!????
