  1. Wo ! they have a full name for this thing, seems like a dynamo. Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Commercial Masticating Juicer Very nice, so far, but I am settled on what I think I want, makes me think more now though because this is what I wanted before, a masticating juicer simple though. Thanks
  2. SerendipityHappens, Sorry for a way late response, I also found that very interesting, I am going to look up that juicer on the net to see that. I have a regular old Jack LaLane, makes OK juices but I was going to get a high power blender (not for puree) some time for daily green smoothies in the future with all the fix'ens, lol. I have a Nutri Bullet now and it is a gas, it is a great start, it is juice plus everything that comes with the fruit or veggie fully liquidized. I had wanted a juicer for greens but one way is as good as the other at times. I use the juicer still for carrot juice plain and apple juice plain and straight up, although I toss in a lemon too with them.
  3. no problem, maybe you'll add something cool to recipes here some time, hope I see that if you do, stay cool, you can do it.
  4. Oh, I see, I think that might frustrate me toward feeling angry the same. You gotta adjust, the best thing to do is know that it is you to decide what that means, trying to find what this and that is will also be your task I guess along with the weight loss and personal cooking you do for you. You should designate a taste tester friedndly relationship with some one in your kitchen too.
  5. I hate to say it but its a good thing that you continue to get as many weights recorded as you might at this weight before they see it to review. hmmm, don't know what else to think but I sympathize with you.
  6. you'll eventualy get to where you want, hang in there
  7. Goodgonebad, sorry, I reread what you wrote, wow, maybe your taste for it will come back to you somewhat a little as time goes by, sorry, I thought you'd also wanted to lose more weight and that depressed you, hmmm, I would like to think some of it will apeal to me.
  8. hey grrwuff, Cheer up, it seems to be just another waiting game. Soon the time will allow you to move forward. Maybe just tell the NUT what your doing, they may have an opinion but if its necessary to keep the weight its also your choice. You will be able to hear what the NUT says about it though. Eat healthy, just not to little.
  9. It will come later I guess, like Amazon13 said, after you won't need worry and can go gang busters to lose wieght.
  10. My understanding is that its said you should never again drink soda or anything so fully carbonated but always as with anything there are cheats that I heard say in group that they try little bits, 1/4 cup ect., I am not planing to and stoped drinking it months ago. One guy said in a group he'd forgotten and ordered one mistakenly at lunch but noticed as he went to drink what he did. I agree that soda is junk too, sorry, I was drinking some diet soda but never was like a daily need for me as habit.May come out your nose any way, lol.
  11. That is unfortunate. I think my own only must be 40.
  12. *grin* something else to do with seeds ! ,
  13. Hmmm, the stomach looks a nice and fit job sleeved, I was almost scared to look at it.Thanks.
  14. Calcium, and I've also been given option for 2 childrens multi a day or 1 adult multi.B12 by injections.
  15. hey there, I am Dec. 11th too. had my last exams yesterday, its a go from here on. My liquid is post op of course but no pre-op Ya ! on that.
  16. I like the sound of that ! and I have expectation to rid myself of a few more pills and a CPAP after all. So Glad I am not diabetic but its so very interesting what this plus the resulting weight lost can do for that also.
  17. Thanks for saying so
  18. Thank you JenC, thats a great help hearing that. I may try to get a decent fat freeish stew or soup going at that time being as I do have a crock pot and will probably get that immersion blender now too.
  19. I am pre-op, I'd thought since I had been experimenmting doing Puree I might ask here where people who might like to cook and probably have been there can let me know some real tips, I am thinking of getting an immersion hand blender hoping it works better than my blender and Nutri bullet which can mix nice clear alike liquids as long as I add much Water or something. I am not into making slush for this at all times, I think I'd rather have a smooth dryer like mix but slush is what I started to get trying to add liquid and get the darn thing all pureed. Whats good ingredinants and method and tips you think better. Please, do me the favor, I'll pass it on where I can.
  20. this poped up from around right now too; http://www.verticals...ns-do-you-take/
  21. thanks that you more clearified this Oregondaisy, Yes, my surgeon said we would have to use one and he said if you smoke and don't use one you'll achieve ulcers that I don't want. But a point also would be that they can upgrade you to a higher dose if you are on one too I am sure so make the call.
  22. it sounds like acid reflux, does warm liquid get up your pipe some times ? They told me mine should some time go away after the surgery but I also read that you can get a temperary case post op for a while, some times short temperary some times long enough for a med to be used. They give me prilosec now pre op and I have been on many over years, its a capsule though, I am unsure what med they would offer you but it might also be if thats the case you won't be using it long term but only while you need it too, I read that too.
  23. Hi GENNYOSKINNY, post link on this as far as I got, http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/59685-vitamin-help/ I chose these: they don't taste so bad to me, not great but OK, can mix with other drinks too. https://wellesse.alice.com/
