  9. Guess I'm lucky because I work with several people who had gastric bypass (a few successful and a few not so successful) so the thought of not telling anyone at my job was not an issue. In fact, me and a co-worker had surgery by the same surgeon one day apart. We are the first "sleevers" at my job and already have had others tell us that the may follow suit. My family and close friends and even my neighbor are all supportive. I'm 5'2. SW 204 SW 196 CW 171. surgery date 10/31/12
  10. Sorry to hear this. I was given the blood thinner shots while I was hospitalized for two days. Once I was released I had to give myself the shot two times per day for 14 days and I hated it. But I see now the importance of it. I wish you a speedy recovery.
  11. Of course you will. I always say to myself "No Fail Sleeve"
  12. Surgery date was Oct. 31st. Start weight 204. Surgery day 196. Today 173. So, about 26 days and no more HBP. Goal weight 125
  13. Its official. No more HBP meds. Sugery on 10/31/12. Mission #1 accomplished. Mission #2 more weightloss. Goal is 47lbs more to go! Loving my sleeve

  22. Wow......that's so much more than I can get in. Fear of throwing up stops me from pushing it a little further.
  23. How much can you eat? 18 days out and can only get in about 2 teaspoons of mushies. Is anyone else getting in much more than that?
  24. I too will be sleeved in the morning. Feeling ok so far. Will probably be a ball of nerves in the morning. I wish you a speedy recovery -
  25. Halloween sleever here. 10:00am tomorrow! Not thinking about it too much. Have a sick dog and more worried about him and being away from him for a couple of days. Good think is only have 1 day pre op liquid diet. So far, so good! Good luck everyone and I look forward to your after surgery post
