  8. Please let me know if this is not allowed and I'll delete it BUT the best vegan Protein I've found is by Wildtree. It also includes probiotics!! https://wildtreemeals.com/rep/lizharden/product/194/chocolate-balanced-meal-shake-15-day-supply
  9. Hi everyone! I'm one month post op and for some reason have one ankle that hurts and is swollen. I didn't injure it-started hurting when I got out of bed. Urgent care and PCP want me to take a steroid and/or NSAID to reduce inflammation but I told them that my bariatric surgeon was pretty clear that I couldn't. They said it would just be for a week and shouldn't be a problem.....anyone else have this issue??? Thanks in advance!!!
  10. Hi Brittany! Wow! Your success is SO inspiring....especially since I will also have surgery with Dr. Davis. I look forward to hearing about your continued success with the plant based diet. I am so interested!!! Take care!
  11. Optimum Nutrition Extreme Milk Chocolate is the BEST by far!!
  12. Surgery was 12/19 and first fill was almost 2 weeks ago. I am at a plateau and it's driving me nuts. I've been walking, working out with a trainer, lowered sodium, low carb, less than 1000 cal a day. I would like to get closer to 1200 since the training but I just cant eat that much. Anyone gone through this yet? Any suggestions?
  13. I think it's interesting that so many ppl have been told to have liquids, mashies, after fill. 2 weeks ago after my first fill I was told to eat as normal/ what I could tolerate.
  14. Hi everyone-got banded back on 12/19 and my first fill appt is 12/16. Ive lost 27 lbs since dec 5( includes pre- op) but during this week 3 of mashies my weight loss has completely stalled. I have been walking. I have so many questions when I go in, but I was wondering if anyone was thinking bout the following: I have been thinking about all the dietary guidelines that we should be getting a day but only eating 4 oz at a time how can we possibly get those in? So far my doctor wants me to still have a protein shake in the morning and starting next week protein first then veggies- no carbs at all. Anyone else being told the same thing? That will be week four for me by the way. Anyways I will share any revelations, if any, after my appt. on the 16th. LOL
  15. I was banded on Dec. 19 and I'm down 27 pounds, which includes the Pre- op. I'm terrified of the scale slowing down. I'm so happy to see everyone else's good results so far too! I only have pangs of hunger sometimes, but I have also caught myself standing in front of the open refrigerator for no reason at all. I didn't realize that was one of my former behaviors with food. Otherwise feeling good. SO glad I did this over the holidays so I had time to fully recover! Look forward to hearing from everyone! Happy New Year!
  16. So good to hear so many ppl having the same feelings! I try to focus on the rewards at the end- as cheesy as that sounds. That and my 4 yr old son.
