I was banded on the 29th. I have a incredible amount of energy! I have been reading on here how a lot of people have little to no energy. I am not complaining about my energy boost or anything just curious how normal it is?

Guess my LapBand Mentality is not at 100%. Just took a big gulp of water and threw back two pills not thinking. I suck!

I've always been a meat eater and I keep wanting to chew meat and not swallow it. The options for first week post op just aren't that great but worth it!

So its only been three days post op. I dont have much of an appetite but get urges to chew something. Everything is Going freakishly smooth (not complaining).

Hey Yall. Had surgery October 29th. Wondering how much bruising is normal?

Hey 29ers! How is everyone doing? I started having gas pains for the first time today. Little bit discomfort where they cut me but other than that I am surprised of my recovery

Oh, and like someone else already said...Loose sports bra. Something easy to slip over your head. I promise you dont want your tatas flopping around.

If you are outpatient you really dont need much. 1. Chapstick! Lol I never understood why people kept telling me to bring it but now that I am post op (one day) I know why! You wouldn't believe how dry your mouth is. 2. Pillow for ride home to hold to your stomach. 3. Comfy clothes, the comftier the better. Lol 4. Slip on shoes. You will Not be able to bend over much. I wanted Water afterwards. I would bring a bottle. My hospital sent me home with a bottle though. You wont be able to gulp but sipping slowly is fine.

So glad you are doing well. They told me I was a "Go Getter" and doing abnormally well lol. I have a high pain tolerance though. Gonna write my Surgery Day blog entry Wednesday Morning if you would like to see how my full day was. Blog address is in sig.

I am feeling good actually. A lot better than I thought I would. I wouldn't really call it pain more of a discomfort. I sleep a lot of the hour and 45 minute drive home laid back in the seat. I woke up a few times and it was hardly hurting but when i would move or take a sip of water the discomfort would creep back up. My surgery was at Memorial Hermann SouthEast in Houston...GREAT STAFF.... Very caring, patient, nice and made me feel comfortable at all times. I am at at my parents house now relaxing. Going Going to get up in a few and move around.

Well waking up to get ready for my hour and a half trip to Houston. My day is finally here!!

Time for me to hit the hay! Gotta get up early

One more night 29ers I want to take this time to wish everyone Good Luck for tomorrow in case I am to scatter brained to do it tonight. Lol. I'll let everyone know how mine went when I get up and moving around afterwards.

2 more nights 29ers My surgery got moved up a couple hours BTW! I have to be awake by 4 am to get ready and there by 0830

I am not even going to lie...I would love to Love Sexy clothes but even more than that I just want to feel comfortable/confident in the clothes I wear regardless of what it is...
