  1. My acid reducer seems to be helping my heart burn problem but I still slime up for no reason. All day I'm clearing the back of my throat or spitting I just feel like my stomach is full of that slim stuff. So when I eat it all comes up. Maybe I need a little more time with my acid reducer. What else can cause this slimy stuff to produce with out eating?
  2. My week 5 sounds exactly like yours did I'm six weeks now I got on a PPI which is an acid reducer and I'm no longer throwing up slim. Get a stronger PPI then tums and hopefully that helps it helped me.

  4. Yesterday was my six week post op. My issues (heartburn and slimming) in week 5 have gotten better since I started a regular PPI. This was the best thing I've ever done for myself im happy i did this while im still young and have no children. I have not yet regretted my decision. Down 40 pounds so far!! 80 more to go till goal!

  6. I have Prilosec and some stuff my dr gave me but honestly I didn't use it cause I never had a problem till this week. Guess I should start using it regularly now.

  8. I'm almost 6 weeks. I feel fine besides-freaking sliming when I feel nauseous. Thats just the last couple days though and I've had issues drinking for about a week because of heartburn.
  9. So as I've posted before a get the slimes all the time and am Nausous the last couple days. I havnt hardly been eating or drinking anything could I be dehydrated.
  10. Yeah emlefe. I wonder if our new Stomachs are getting feeling back because I've had issues with some foods I've had no problems with before also. I slimmed the first time last Friday and it seems to happen every other day now.
  11. I sent him an e mail so I'll see what he says. I feel great except for when those things happen. I wonder if I'm gaging because of the acid shooting up? I'm going to start mushies again to step back maybe my new tummy isn't likeing soft/solid food.
  12. The last week I've been having heart burn. Well I think it's heartburn it burns and is uncomfortable. And about when this happened my gag reflex is full force I can just gag for no reason! And almost every time I eat I get the slimes. I just go to the bath room puke up some slimmy stuff and I'm fine. No food is coming up. Please tell me this gets better.
  13. I saw dr aceves it was 8,750 if I recall right. After sugery you stayed at the hospital you had sugery in and was there 3 days before I left to go home. He is awesome I highly recommend him to anybody.

  15. I'm 5 weeks post op and all the sudden I have terrible heart burn for the last three days its about to drive me crazy nothing is working(even stuff from my sugeron) prilosec, pepcid or tums. Any ideas would help!
  16. You too! I had 1/4 of 1 rib and I'm spitting and throwing up slimy stuff off the side of the road(we were at a restaurant) I guess my sleeve doesn't like ribs. Is this caused by to much food or eating to fast or tummy just doesn't like it?
  17. Ok so I'm about to be 4 weeks and I'm on solid food. I need help with some easy healthy things to eat at this stage an beyond I've never been a cook so I'm a little stumped at this stage now. If I do cook its not healthy stuff. What things does every body eat once your past the first month.
  18. Anything fried taste and smells horrible to me. I know this isn't really a bad thing but just wondering if this is gonna change the further out I get? My husband eats fried stuff next to me and it makes me gag it smells and it all smells the same no matter what it is. I guess my sleeve doesn't like fried food at all but would that change how it smells?
  19. Sounds just like my experience 4 weeks ago! They are truly amazing in every department!
  20. I use 100% whey protein powder from GNC and it's the only protein shake I can tolerate. It has 20 grams of protein
  21. Yes i didn't have any medical issues. I did it just to lose weight and to prevent medical issues.
  22. I went back to work after a week and was completely fine. I'm a hair dresser too so i was standing all day and not much free time to sip sip sip but I'm almost 4 weeks now and everything is great.
  23. Yeah I have no issues drinking more then sips too. I defently will be more cautious when I move to solid food I really don't want to get any thing stuck.
