  9. QOTD: I run now and I'm going to keep running! I just started running 10km races this year. next year I will attempt my first half marathon and I'm willing to bet my time for that will be the same time or close to the time I did my 10k this year. The biggest difference will be that I won't hurt for days after I love running and can't wait to really do it I'm also doing a mud hero run this month. I will be doing things like that. I like to dance so maybe some Zumba classes or something like that. I can't wait!!

  12. My friend wore one for 6 weeks post op. she said she really noticed when she wasn't wearing it, she would feel things pull more when she was moving. I'm still pre op but will borrow hers to try out after my surgery.

  14. There are 3 doctors that do it here now. I was referred in December, had my first appointment on January 17th, I was approved for surgery on May 23. Then of course you have to wait for the call, I got called in June. now I am just waiting for August 30 to get here so I can be on my way with my new journey!

  19. The 3 things I am looking forward to doing when I am thinner 1. Running longer distances 2. Shopping in normal stores with normal sizes and paying reasonable prices 3. Not spilling over my seat on an airplane.
  20. YesI would do it. 70 lbs will turn into 75 and then 80 and then 100..... You said you need help so I would do it now before you have any other issues to deal with. Plus if you do it now you might not have issues with extra skin.
  21. Yay for July! I wish mine wasn't at the end of August (30th), I still have 2 months to go. But glad its July and looking forward to August!
  22. Don't shame yourself. Don't beat yourself up. You have acknowledged that you have some kind of problem like social anxiety or it could even be low self esteem. What ever the diagnosis you are doing something about it. Would the old you have called the psych? You are making great changes everyday! Be proud of every step forward that you take.
