I only have to lose 13 lbs b4 surgery...which today was my appt and i lost 14,,which everyones right every Dr. is differant. my Dr is very strict and wants everything done right!.

I hope everything works out for you, i understand where ur coming from it sucks that ur weight stops you from what you love, but everything will work out!

Today I went for my check up and I can officially say that I meet with the sergeon June 18th!!! And ill get my date!!! It's coming to reality and im soo excited but also getting so nervous!!!! I'm so ready to be sleeved!!!

It's Been awhile since ive been here. Been really busy.When i started the process i was working for fast food, i knew that if im gonna go through with this surgury i need to find something else so i did, I now work at a Casino! i love it and ur constantly moving which is a plus, but i went to my second hospital i only lost 2 lbs in like a month...BAD! but she told me if i lose about another 5 lbs i can meet the surgeon, which as of today i lost 6-7...i go June 7th..im nervous and scared at the same time, all my test are done which i found out i got sleep apnea,but im so ready to get my DATE!! ready for change!

today i went for my blood work, tomarrows my sleep study test then the 26th is when i go for my psych evaluation....getting closer to meeting with my surgeon!!!

really..she just gave me a shopping list. not like a specified meal plan

Can you have protein shakes in Phase 1? im just wondering cause i bought some so i can try if im gonna be on them for a long time...and if i am when should i take them?

Aww that is wonderful.it does make you feel a million bucks when someone else says ur beautiful. Thats all we need.but i hope it lifted ur spirits now and to stay positive!!

So i started my phase 1 yesturday and let me tell u..its gonna be tuff. i went shopping saturday and i feel like i barly got anything...and that im gonna be eating the same thing everyday! And im confused on what to make for lunch today..i just gotta find my routine..i guess. I made my 2nd appt. with the hospital today...which is March 28th.. thats something good to look forward too. well i guess i should go and do some strength excercise

So as of today i was going to get the Lapband...Today was my first clinical visit at the hospital and we were talking and decided the lapband probally wasnt the best bet for me...so she decided the sleeve was starting to get popular and there is a faster weight loss compared to the Lapband..which i want. So I guess im kinda new..i did all my infomation on the lapband now have to learn this surgury...

Today was my 1st clinic appt with the hopital..it went really well. Got to go back in 4 weeks. just need a sleep Study and blood work and go for my phych evalutation then im Medical cleared for surgery.. the only thing is the nurse and talked and felt that the lapband was not for me so im gonna get the Vertical Sleeve. I just want to know if I'm still allowed to be here even though im not getting the actually lapband done?

Not yet, after the nurse has all she needs ill meet with the suergon and get the date...

I havent been on here in awhile,last time i was i still havent went to the seminar, as of Feb 9th i went to the seminar..it was very helpful... and then on Feb 13th (My 21st Birthday) I got a call from the Hospital by first appt is the 23rd.so fast!! im so excited. ill meet witht the nurse,do paperwork,meet with dietican and physical therpist!!! How did your first Appt go???

I have no clue what my insurance company requires yet...also the good thing is my friend is getting the lapband too so shes going with me to the seminar im lucky to have a friend thats at the same point i am and that we can support each other!
