NO ENERGY AND NO DESIRE TO WORKOUT, PLEASE HELP (ADVISE)
If you can't choke down the protein drinks then be SURE to EAT protein before you eat anything else. This is vital to your energy level. Get some protein bars too. Look for "Think Thin" protein bars. They taste good and will not kill you on calories and fat and carbs. Lots of protein in them. Snack on beef jerky. Have tuna for lunch, eggs for breakfast and a try some grilled chicken on a salad at night. cottage cheese and fruit for an evening snack. Get that protein in anywhere you can. If you have yogurt, have Greek yogurt, as it is higher in protein. Yoplait makes a 100 calorie Greek. Very good. I'm cold too. I'm sitting here right now just freezing solid!!! VEry weird for me.

Seminar And Looooong Wait Times
Weird. First I've heard of having to do that! Are the shots specific to a medical condition or does he make everyone do that??? And the wait time! Jeezum crow, you'll die of old age before you get the sleeve. Is there anyone out of state you could drive or fly to for the surgery? I went one state over and could have had an appt. within...2 or 3 weeks. I did not bother to wrangle the insurance co. though. I went straight for cash. That may make a difference. Post op diet- It seems there are as many opinions on this as there are doctors! Listen to the one you end up using. Listen to your body too. Just don't let it get you into trouble

Question For Veterains And Confession
At nine months out now...I STILL try to inhale my food when I get too hungry. Then the paaaiiin hits. I have to consciously tell myself when I sit down, "eat slowly, eat slowly, chew a lot, put the fork down." otherwise, the full sensation does not register until i've swallowed too much. I fear that this may have led to some capacity increase, but I could be totally wrong. It just seems that if there is pain in the sleeve, it's being taxed.... I don't want to stretch it. That would be my concern. That, and just plain overeating.

Take That Airplane Seat! (Pic)
Ok, lemme 'splain what your looking at here: The brown thing is my shirt. The denim color is my pants and the white thing is my TRAY TABLE ALL THE WAY DOWN with a couple inches to spare!! The blue tabbie looking thing is MY SEATBELT, not only fastened without an extender, but a few inches pulled out. Then just to be a smart@$$, I went and used the airplane bathroom JUST because I could!! HAHAAAAAAAAAA!!! I love it. Oh, what 98 lbs can do for a person!! Love it. Don't give up, people!!!

Anyone With Nausea And Cold Sweats After Having Food ?
I'm 8 months out and this will still happen to me if I eat food that is too rich and if I eat too much of it too fast. Too rich, meaning....too fatty. A cream soup could do that if you're in early stages. Especially if eaten too fast.

It's Been Awhile.. But Here's A Sort Of Update But Not Really
Wow!! This reminds me of my sister in law's friend in Washington. Their little girl had a similar situation, and my SIL is trying to raise money for them because the insurance does not cover the rotation plasty. Basically, they remove the affected knee joint and use the foot, turned backward and grafted on, as the new knee joint. (The heel is like the kneecap) This gives them use of the knee like never before! Just amazing what they can do.... I pray you raise a lot of money! If I had any, I'd give you some. :/

A Cross Between The Bachelor Party And The Hangover
That's AWESOME!!! This may sound dorky, but I don't want you to have to beat the crap out of anyone.... make up a list of about 10 or 20 stock questions and when you don't know what to say, you ask questions. People LOVE to talk about themselves. You ask one question and you'll be nodding and shaking your head and saying "uh huh" for like....half an hour.... And they'll think you're like...the greatest guy they ever met! (OH-- and I finally lost a pound BELOW my bounced up weight. Yay!! I really need to kick my own butt. Turns out I was all swollen up from Aunt Flo visiting!! I've been in menopause for a couple years, so this was a shocker!)

Labor Day Challenge 2012
Well, I'd have to lose a lot by morning, so i'm going to go ahead and throw in the towel on this challenge. I know I was shooting high so i'd make decent progress, so i can't complain about 16 lbs, huh? I did get into the wedding dress too, so i'm happy
