  1. Way to go FYE! Your be back to those smaller sizes in no time at all! Keep it up!
  2. Don't forget to take ur pain meds. They do help.
  3. I still need to flavor my water at almost 2 years out. I find that if I dilute low calorie Gatorade I can get a lot of it down. If not I will get dehydrated. I also like th orange MIO drops for a long time. Water use to hurt my stomach. I had been an advid diet Pepsi person before. Lol
  4. Carol u are so right. The sleeve is just a tool and we need to continue eating healthy. Thank u for coming back and posting.
  5. Georgia you are very determined and will get to 145 too! It's just around the corner for you....
  6. I am wondering if around 145 lbs is my norm weight. My body just seems to want to stay at this weight. I get down to 143 to 144 periodically and then I shoot right back up. Is it water weight? I know that I am medium to large bone frame so perhaps this is where I should be? My caloric intake sits at about 1100 to 1300 on a daily basis, except when I fast. Then I can't get less than 600, but I'm still losing some, only to fluctuate back up. Frustrating at times. FYE I also have those thoughts too. I would really like to know the reason this plan works so well.... But on a happier note, i remind myself that as long as it's helping shift the weight, then the reasons don't really matter. JMO Hang in there everyone, I'm changing my ticker to 145 lbs now and that means I'm at goal for sure. Maybe tomorrow I might change it but I will still be working on losing a lb here and there and staying where I need to be.
  7. Does that mean that Coops is in a smaller size than here? Simply amazing! Way to go Coops!
  8. Of course your not crazy ! That sounds crazy to gain 30 lbs when the lap band wasn't functioning properly.
  9. I love taking left overs home but I don't eat them. I like that my husband, son, or daughter eats them. When I've asked about price break after asking for a really small portion they've told me no. I completely forgot about ordering a side. Lol
  10. Coops a size 8? That's totally awesome! I love your fun pic too!
  11. OMG a size S! That's pretty amazing......
  12. As a therapist and a certified sex therapist I notice that ur husband is a wacko. Laying by the door masturbating and recording u over the Internet is totally gross. These are deviant behaviors and could adversely affect your 15 month old. Does he have a mental illness? What are ur reasons for being with a man with these types of behaviors? Of course I haven't heard of ur part of this relationship. Hope things get better.
  13. I eat at a pretty quick rate. I am use to eating cold food and don't mind it being cold. I do need to slow down bc I have to watch my dining partner eat and I a little impatient ! Lol
  14. Doesn't this feel simply amazing! This is the taste of success and there's more to come really soon..... CONGRATS!
  15. I'm so excited for you! Congrats! you will be there is not time at all. Welcome to the BIG LOSER'S BENCH!
  16. What I have a tendency to do is to give people the info and then step back and watch there reactions. When my best friend told me I wasn't that big, I didn't need surgery, etc. I then questioned my decision. I did research, I focused on preparing for the surgery and I distanced myself from her....when I did see her, I seen her struggle with my skinniness. Thus my username is MsSkinniness. She still struggles with it today. People are always telling me how much weight they have lost and I'm totally happy for them. No one has told me they have lost a humongous amount of weight and have been able to maintain that weight. It's interesting because my friends are asking me if they lost 20 lbs, would they have a lot of excess skin. My reply is IDK. But I do know that I'd rather be skinny and healthy with a little bit of excess skin than carry around that extra 20 lbs or even the 80 lbs that I lost. This is a journey and it's wonderful in so many ways and also difficult at the same time. It's not the easy way out.
  17. So excited for you.....Congrats! This is the best decision I have made for myself and continues to be.
  18. It is a hard path you are on. I can not imagine losing a child. It is devastating. I wish that u could afford therapy but I do understand the financial factor here. This is the time to take care of u. Your kids need u now. I hope u can look into a support group to help u with the grieving process of ur loss.
  19. Congrats on your success! Now it's on to maintaining healthy weight.
  20. I will be 2 years post op October 4. So I am totally interested in this post. A bariatric surgeon did tell me that the sleeve will not stretch if a bougie under 40 was used in which I had a 34 bougie. So I would like to see the results. I do know that we or I have to be hyper-vigilant and eat a healthy diet and that we can gain weight if grazing all day and eating crap.
  21. Kaiser recommends that we do 3 weeks of a liquid diet, 3 weeks pureed, 3 weeks of soft and then introduce foods gradually. This was an effective plan for me and a friend that I gave this diet too.
  22. Amazon113 has a six pack. Maybe you could contact her by PM. She can give you some ifo. I really need to work on this too...Like from scratch.
  23. I take a multivitamin, B12, B1, Vitamin D3 2000IU, Iron, Calcium Ccitrate, biotin, silica, co enzyme, and calcium. I also take fish oil and a few others I can't think of right now. I get up to 100gms of protein in on a daily basis. My hair is growing very rapid and am increasing visits to my beautician for hair treatment due to growth. I have really healthy hair......
  24. Is it time to sit back and learn a little bit of patience? It's frustrating as all hell not knowing when the surgery will be but you will...You have come this far so now it's time to practice living today and learning new habits of eating slowly, drinking tiny sips, walking and exercising as much as you can. After the surgery your health issues will get much better and easier to handle and you most likely won't have the sweating all day problem. That would be a hughe relief..You really don't know what your future holds for you at this moment, but as long as your worried about the future, you are losing these precious moments today. This is the time to start learning about you and the triggers you have to foods. Look at you food addiction and start to make some positive changes today. A little bit at a time.
