  1. We should connect! I was banded on December 23rd by Dr. Elli! I am also a low BMI. If you feel like it facebook me at Rachael Schultz Schroeder. I work in Chicagoland during the week, but live in Ohio.
  2. There are a bunch of us that got fitbits. www.fitbit.com. I love it.
  3. I am right there with you. I had my install on December 23rd. I still have the gas pains, but like you they are getting better. I am 10 years older then you and my kids are almost grown, but if you want you can adopt or you may find someone who has ready made kids you can love and spoil. You are due for some good after the past couple years, you are making the right steps. Good for you!
  4. Great story thanks for sharing!
  5. Fitbit is what I have, I love it. I clamp it on the middle of my bra, or on my pants or stick it in my pocket! LOVE IT! I can't speak to the bodybug.

  9. How do you feel on day 4 Matt? I am scheduled to drive (in the evening) on day 4 back to Chicago where I have to work for 2 days on day 5 and 6. Then I am off again for several days. These days I will mostly be sitting. I hope I can do this!
  10. Hi Nikki! Thank you for posting, many of us on this site are in pre-op stages and are so "HUNGRY" for information. We want to know the good, bad and ugly. Please keep posting so we can understand what is coming and support each other along the way! I can't wait to be in your place!!
  11. WOW, Thank you so much! It is easy now that you showed me!
  12. Good luck on your surgery! I don't know anything about hair loss, but I wanted to wish you luck. I am not scheduled until Jan 29th ... it feels so far away.
  13. I haven't had my surgery yet, what hurts? Is it the gas pains I hear about the first week? If so, I think you are supposed to get up and walk to get the gas moving. I don't know for sure....
  14. This is my first day on this site. I plan to have my consultation on December 2nd and have my lapband put on January 29th. How do you put how many days until your surgery in a bar and then how many pounds you have lost or how many pounds until you hit your goal weight on a bar at the bottom of a post? Talk to me about how I will feel the first couple days after. Will I be ok to get in a car and travel 4 hours home the day after surgery? I am a corporate trainer. Will I be able to teach the week after? I will be on my feet all day.
