I have been overweight my whole life. I have tried Weight Watchers several times, slim fast, diet, etc, etc. I will lose some weight but it never stays off and then I gain the weight back and then some. I now have 2 kids and don't want to be fat for my whole life. I want to get healthier for myself and for my family. I am ready for the lab band and my husband is interested as well. I have contacted Dr. Rawlins' office in Spokane, WA and am planning on going to the required seminar this Tuesday (Nov. 8th, 2011). My insurance does cover it, but it has to be pre-authorized and I know there will be things that need to get done prior to surgery. I am just at 40 BMI so I am not actively trying to lose weight as I am not sure what the BMI requirement is yet. I am hoping to get the surgery as soon as possible. I am ready to start my journey! I would love to touch base with anyone in my area and people who have gotten their sugery done through the doctor's at Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, WA.
