  1. Sunday at 2pm in the parking lot behind the Jennifer Sears Glass Blowing Center. Address is 4821 SW Hwy 101. Once we meet up ther ewe can decide on if we want to go elsewhere. Being a holiday weekend it will be crazy no matter where we choose. Looking forward to meeting you all. PDXMan...good luck on your run, I know you'll do great! Can't wait to hear all about it.
  2. So how does meeting up on Sunday in Lincoln City sound? Maybe in the afternoon? Where should we meet? Anybody who wants to join us is welcome! If you want to meet let me know and I'll personal message you my cell number.
  3. Are you of the age where you could be stopping? I only had 3 periods last year and haven't had one since Jan and my sugery was in March. I hope that I'm done, it's been way too long.
  4. Furby36 I will be down this weekend, probably arriving Friday afternoon and staying through Monday. Can meet you if you'd like.
  5. HOLY CRAP! I had a great week this week...down 5 pounds! So that leaves me 4 pounds to my challenge goal weight and if I can push it one more pound beyond that I will finally be in twonderland!! OMG, that would totally make my day! HW: 358 SW: 355 CW: 304 GW: 300 (okay I'd like 299 even more)
  6. Oregondaisey - we are at the coast all the time there in Lincoln City. Wouldn't be to far to go if we met half way in between.
  7. I had dr. Patterson do my surgery and loved her. Luckily my insurance covered it Would love to meet up with any of you at any time.
  8. I have four, one below my Brest bone, one on the right, one on the left and one above my belly button.
  9. I lost slowly the first five weeks but now it's picking up. Was losing about half a pound a day until this week where I'm already down 6 and I have two more days left till I weigh in. Hang in there it will get better.
  10. For for the last few days I have been so cold. Is this normal for sleevers?
  11. Hey guys! Checking in finally. Down 29 pounds since surgery and 52 overall. I have dropped three pant sizes and am finally feeling like I am really going to be successful at this.
  12. So I bought two pair of pants when I went back to work three weeks ago and they were two sizes smaller then before and they are already too big. Had a long stall and once it broke the weight is finally falling off. I should invest in suspenders to keep my pants up or get some new ones. This is crazy but I am loving every minute of it! Thank you sleevie!
  13. Checking in...Down a couple more this week, hoping next week is still better. Gots to start movin and grovin here. I really want to make my first challenge. HW: 358 SW: 335 CW: 309 GW: 300
  14. Don't let him get to you. I had only lost 15 pounds at my one month check in. They told me that was half a pound a day average which was a good safe way to lose. I don't want super saggy hanging skin all over so I'll take my half a pound a day and celebrate that those are pounds I won't ever see again!
  15. My surgeon does not do a leak test either. And no tubes to deal with afterwards. I feel blessed that everything has been working out great so far.
  16. Down a few more this week, hoping next week is better. Really want to make my first challenge. HW: 358 SW: 355 CW: 311 GW: 300
  17. I'm a card carrying member!!! Never have had to use it, I usually pick something on the "lean healthy" side and when I don't eat it all they never question, they just bring me a box. Or my husband and I split a dinner, that works the best of all. I got my card at my one month visit.
  18. ChaCha - we have so many similarities that it's almost scary.
  19. Images added to a gallery album owned by bratvp63 in Before and After Gastric Sleeve Photos
These were taken the morning of the surgery
  20. Chacha, it could be possible. I'm adopted and we could have been separated at birth! Hahaha
  21. Chacha - are you kidding? That's me before my morning coffee! Lol
  22. Checking in....still having no issues at all from surgery which is a blessing. I had the dreaded three week stall but it has finally broke and the scale dropped 6 pounds since then. Whew. I am down 21 pounds since surgery and 44 pounds over all. I am so glad I did this and only wish I had done it sooner.
  23. Hey there! We moved out of the Wismer house yesterday (that was the rental) and back to the hotel. Our house won't be ready for another couple of weeks so not too much longer. Can't wait to be home again. How are things going for you?
  24. Sorry fror the delay, I've been away from my scale for a couple of weeks. But boy am I glad I was. When I last weighed myself I was in a stall, this morning I stepped on and I've lost 6 pounds in the last 11 days. Yeah me! This is my first challenge and I really want to make this goal. 27 days to go and 14 pounds to wash away. Go team!!! HW: 358 SW: 355 CW: 314 GW: 300
