Thanks guys...surgery is so late because the dr had to double up as he is going to be out on tues! Oh well, what can i do about it? I think my husband and i are going to go to a mid day moviE to break up the time a bit! Just so anxious to get a view of the losers bench! (although i have lost 17 pounds since my appt with the dr on 8/4!)

I am such a ball of nerves especially for the fact that my surgery is not until at least 5 pm tomorrow...what to do all day? Anyway, i have never felt so many emotions at one time. How did everyone deal with "the day before" jitters? Thanks all.

I feel the same way! Surgery seems extreme at times and other times i know this is the best thing for me. Surgery is on monday and i am a ball of nerves.

I live in north Dallas and i caanot find these anywhere! Surgery is monday so i am running out of time. Help!

I am on day 2 also...feel like i can eat a rubbe boot! Hopefully it will get easier!

I am on day 2 of my pre op (2 shakes, 2 protein bars and small dinner) since i am at work and my mind is occuppied, or at least it is supposed to be because i can think of nothing but this surgery, it has not been too bad! (as my stomach growls..ha ha)

Yikes..after complaing that time was dragging, here i am 2 weeks pre op. Do i have everything? What did the dr say about (fill in the blank here)?? Really starting to freak out here...could use some support from all of my post op friends out there!

I start my two week pre op on monday as i am being sleeved on 9/12 by dr nick...i am concerned about the headaches too!

I am being sleeved in just about 2 weeks and i am not sure how much help i am going to need afterwards. We have no family here and my husband, who is an amazing dad, will have to juggle our 4 year old twins. Should i have my brother come in (from out of state) and help out? Thanks!

I have 4 year old twins and i am not sure what to tell them about my surgery and my difference in eating..they are both very inquisitive and will definately notice! Any suggestions? Thanks!

I feel the same way! My surgery is on 9/13 and i cannot focus on anything but this surgery which makes it especially difficult at work!

I have myself on a modified pre-op diet (prior to the 2-week required by my doctor) totally blew it tonight with what ate, i just could not stop cuz i was hungry..i dont want to do anything to jeopardize having this surgery..want it so bad.,,no more screw ups!

I am getting sleeved on sept 13th with dr. Nick at Forest Park...i need to the 2-week pre op but have myself on a modified diet right now..all i can say is that I AM STARVING! Not to mention cranky and sort of depressed..i am really trying to keep my eye on the prize but it is just hard right now..

Wow..what an inspiration! I am about 4 weeks until my surgery and i am a ball of nerves! I too am a size 22 and am at 272...excited, nervous and everything in between but seeing pics like those is just the encouragement that i need!
