YIKES!! UPDATE!! - I had my surgery pre-testing done today. Everything went well. I lost 3 bls since Aug 2nd and my blood pressure it good. The shocking part of the update is this: my surgery date has been moved up one week!!! It is now the 12th...a week from Monday. I am excited but also nervous. I have to talk to my manager about switching my time off right now. Also, I have to get stuff for my pre-op diet which will start on Wed. This threw me for a loop. I am still shocked...

Hi! Congrats on getting a surgery date. My date is also Sept. 19th!!! My insurance company approved me in 3 days. Hopefully you will get some good news soon. Good luck.

Hello VST users. I am new to this site. I am scheduled to have my surgery on 9/19/11. I am an appointment to get my pre-testing done tomorrow morning. At this time I will meet the anestilogist, get an EKG, chest x-ray, and bloodwork. I am sure everything will be fine...I hope.
