  1. Looking good! Best of luck with the last 20, sounds like you are doing everything right.
  2. Wow, poor thing, I am sorry you are having so many issues...all at once. I only had a two day pre op liquid diet and had no headaches at all, you may want to call the doc on that one. As for the rest, in time, they too will get better, just hang in there. Hugs to you!
  3. Yes, it is common and I too started losing at about 4 months out. I am losing a lot right now, its kinda freaking me out a bit but what can youd really do, it does grow back...eventually. I too am taking all the vitamins but have been lackng a bit on my protein but I am really sticking to the protein now! I am hoping it slows soon, I dont want to lose much more!
  4. Congrats Christine! Do you get to go home today? Welcome to the losers bench!!!
  5. I think you should have blood work done right before the two month appt, which is coming up for you. I would call and schedule it, I had to have mine done before the appt so they could go over the results before I came in. Best of luck to you.
  6. Too funny, thanks for sharing!
  7. It is a huge decision, it can be overwhelming at times. It is good you are planning ahead, you can never be too prepared. Best of luck for a speedy approval!
  8. Congrats Patrick, glad you are recovering nicely.
  9. I AGREE!!! This site and its members have been a tremendous help to me. THANKS TO EVERYONE!!!
  10. If you can drink it and tolerate it...keep drinking, you must be needing it! I am 5 months out and can drink a lot of water too just like Aimee.
  11. Yaaaay! Sooo close, congrats to you!
  12. I think you just answered your own question. You dont want to have the issues your mom does, you want to start a family, you have lost and regained weight...sounds like you want to do this...you are just scared...and so is everyone to an extent. It is all about what you want...what everyone else thinks doesnt matter. You just need to sit down and really think about the big picture and where you want to be...You need to be ready mentally for this and I think you are so close. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat...sheesh, wish I had done it sooner. I was a little nervous at first but the more I read on the subject I knew it was for me. I woke up after surgery and said to myself.....I was scared...for nothing! Best of luck on your decision...keep us posted.
  13. Nice way to start back at work for sure. You look great...keep up the good work!
  14. I dont think there is really anything you can do for it. I hear using biotin helps but the doc says it doesnt really...not sure. I just started taking silica complex to help with the hair regrowth supposedly. I started losing hair about a month ago ( I am 5 months out on the 9th) and it seems to be slowing already...hopefully it keeps slowing! I didnt lose enough for anyone but me to notice tho and I have thjin hair as well. Good luck to you!
  15. Tiny...I think it will bet he best decision you have ever made. I am sooo glad I did it, I am 33 lbs from goal...in just under 5 months...wouldnt be where I am today without my sleeve! Best of luck to you!
  16. Pookey, you are such a success, are you kidding? I think you look freakin fantastic! I follow your trials and tribulations, you are a tremenous help to us all here. Where would we be today if we didnt have our surgeries? Self perception is a weird thing for some. You ARE the beautiful woman in that picture!!
  17. You can soooo do this! I lost 15 lbs in two weeks before my surgery...and I still ate! I only had to do two days of liquids before my surgery. One day at a time...perfect attitude! Best of luck to you!
  18. Best of luck to you! One day with some watermelon isnt going to sabotage you. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!! Hugs!
  19. Tigger, you will find that you wont be able to boredom eat...your sleeve will let you know! Just make sure to eat good foods and you will do great.
  20. Congrats Debbie and welcome! I am glad you are doing well, keep up the good work. I too had a real easy time, no issues whatsoever. Best wishes to you!
  21. I would suggest mixing it up a bit, change what you are eating, maybe change the workout a bit...see what happens. It always works for me.
  22. Yaaay, congrats to you! I am glad you are doing well. I got lucky and didnt have the gas issue like most do. Best of luck to you...keep sipping that water and walk as much as you can!
  23. Oh yes, we have a Big Spoon yogurt shop in town, go there sometimes and have a small amount like you with some of the fresh fruit choices they have...yummy!
