  1. Hi there! Actually, I am 44DD, and was ready to go shopping!!! Where are you located? I am in NC. Can you pack them in the regular mail box? If so, I'll be more than happy to send you a check for that. That is, if you still have them. Let me know. You may text 336-423-7736....

we all go thru that. today i am 4 days post op, and glad i did it.
  3. hi. each doctor does the pre op diet differently, for me, i had to have one shake in the morning, for lunch i had 2 cups of salad greens, with 3 oz of lean protein, and veggies, then for mid afternoon snack another protein shake, for supper i was told i could get a lean cousine frozen meal that had no more than 300 calories, with at least 14g of protein, and before bedtime i had another shake. i promise you, i was never hungry. the reason for this diet is to shrink your liver size, so they can access the area where the band goes easier. good luck. today i am 4 days post op.
  4. i had my surgery on tuesday, and although the dr said to take the pain meds only if necesary ,, i made sure to take them every 4 hrs on the dot until this morning. By this afternoon i had to take another dose. So: start takng your meds again. that will help with the pain. Breathin, will hurt for a little while, remember they filled you up with this gas, and it will take a couple of days before you feel better. I still cant take a deep breath in, but im using the incentive breather....you need to do that. About the heartburn. i thought we wouldnt get any. you need to check on that. hope you feel better soon. ill chek up on you later.

I had my surgery on the 20th!!! No nausea ( i asked for the nausea patch), I do need to remove it today...omg...Also, for the first few days, dont worry about the 64 oz of water...just drink like the prior post, keep the bottle with you and sip all day..Walk, Walk, Walk...helps with clotting and boredom!!I live on a 2nd floor, so i have not gone out yet, but i walk on the treadmill. You can do it. WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER!!
  6. you have not failed until you give up! DO NOT GIVE UP!!! IM 2 DAYS POST SURGERY..I NEED A GOOD ROLE MODEL!!!!
  7. I purposely DO NOT OWN A SCALE!! I excersised at the gym 4-5 times a week prior to surgery. Muscle mass weigh more than fat. Therefore, If you weigh yourself every day, or every other day, the numbers will probably not change, or even gain. I know or knew i was loosing because my pants needed a belt, i never owned a belt. If you are excersising, that is probably where that pound came from. The 2 week pre op diet is difficult. but remember, you can add sugar free jello, cucumbers, celery, etc. keep a hand full of these with you, just in case. what i did, i ate my jello before i went to the gym in the morning, had my shake around 9:30, my lunch 12:45, another shake around 5, and supper wheni got home 6:30, my final shake i drank one hour before bedtime. lost 7 lbs on the 2 week pre op.

  9. Hi. I just had my surgery yesterday morning. For my pre-op diet, I used the eas advantage, they were kind of ok, however, by my friend told me about the unjury protein powder, (that is the same one they gave me yesterday at the hospital), and they are great! They sell a starter kit that has 2 packs each of all the different flavors they sell. Chocolate splendor, vanilla, strawberry, and they even sell unflavored and chicken soup flavor!! I liked them all, and they are really satisfying! I would suggest to get the starter kit, then order your favorites. Go to www.unjury.com , also, they deliver really fast.
