  1. Count me in. My goal will be 177. Thanks.
  2. 186.2. Thanks for doing this!
  3. Wahoo. I met my goal 186.0 this morning.
  4. My surgeon said under 100 too when I asked at my last appointment. I'm around 40-50, but she says she watches sugars more.
  5. How long did you wait before you got rid of your clothes? I had the lapband back in 2011, kept the clothes, and unfortunately got to use them again in 2014. Granted, I had a kid right before them and am done having kids, but still curious if I should keep them?
  6. 196.6 today. Thanks!
  7. I didn't have much pain, but was extremely nauseous. Even when I got home I only took medicine for pain once and that was the first day I was home. My best advice is to walk and walk often (even if you don't feel like it). This will help!
  8. I have no regrets. I liked my band, but it had too many complications for me. With the sleeve I actually feel full and am no longer consumed about eating.
  9. I had a very mild case of sleep apnea so I had to get a cpap machine. I used it and after a couple months I didn't need it anymore
  10. I wondered the same thing before I had my surgery in February. For me, my c-sections were much more painful than my sleeve. The recovery was a lot less painful. I hope this helps.
  11. I had a two week pre-op diet. It consisted of four protein shakes, puddings, and soups provided by them. They wanted me to lose ten pounds by consuming 800 calories daily. I don't miss that time!
  12. I was banded in 2011 with a revision in 2013. I needed another revision in 2015 and that was when my surgeon suggested the sleeve. I was sleeved February 11 and have lost more weight with the sleeve and a lot faster. This, so far, has been so much better than the band. Good luck!
  13. Good luck! Keep us posted.
  14. I'm in. My goal is 186
  15. I had surgery 2/11. Date of surgery weight 230, current weight 209. I have a very hard time still getting to 600 calories daily. I get my protein in, but struggle to get my fluids. I work out 5 times a week for 30 minutes. Doc won't let me do more until I increase calories. Is anyone else struggling with calories?
  16. Does anyone know of the best cold medicine to take after bariatric surgery? Does it matter?
  17. I asked my NUT this week and she said that I am not allowed any decaf coffee until I am eating 1000 calories - don't think this will ever happen.
  18. Thanks for the responses. I'm glad to hear that it should go away within the next week.
  19. Did anyone have pain in your left shoulder after surgery? I'm six days out and that's the one thing that's bugging me.
