I was sleeved September 20th and feeling great. I am having problems with the sweetness of the protein shakes but I forced myself to drink them.With pre-op and post -op I have lost 22 lbs. I am doing great. I find it hard to stay in the house I been shopping everyday and walking the park when its not raining.In two week I will start going to the gym. Next week I will start mushies and I can't wait. My stitches are bothering me and I can not take them myself so I have an appointment with my doctor to removed them. Glad to hear everyone is doing good.

I was there Sept. 20th through Sept. 23rd and the whole time I was there I never felt unsafe. I even knew about the robberies and I still went. I feel the forum favors certain doctors over others. I am sure if we dug alittle we would find some bad event that happened to patients at other doctors in Mexico. I think I find it funny if someone post about Dr. Aceves or Dr.Kelly, they get many responses. If someone post something positive about their experience with Dr. Almanza, you either get no responses or some counter posts something negative about him. Just who pays for this site?

Hello, I am doing great. I find it hard to find liquids that taste good to me. I have lost a few pounds and I have been taking long walks everyday. What is cipro? I can't wait till next week when I can try mushies.

I stayed at the Days Inn/ sea world. I think it was under $65 a night. I didn't get free shuttle service to the hotel from the airport but they do offer free shuttle to the airport in the morning but make sure you pre- arrange it with the shuttle driver.

I think I will give this a try. I was sleeved Sept 20 th, I would like to loss 20 lbs by Halloween. SN-------------SW-------CW--------GOAL-------Pounds to goal Lorip............. 258............... 240.............. 220 ........... 20 lbs. I hope this is possible. I haven't lost any weight since I got home. I hope once I move to mushes it will kick start.

I feel shes wrapped up in the attention she gets from the men on her website. As long as the men are admiring her, she will never change. Usually heavyset women don't get attention from men. I feel she has an addiction to the the attention she gets from men. I look at her face and see a beautiful young lady hiding inside. Hopefully she will see the light before its to late.

I thought this day would never get here. I leave this morning for San Diego and I will be sleeved tomorrow. I am not nervous at all except the flight back. I hope I don't become to weak to handle the airports and the flights. Does any know if your allowed to take protein tubes on the plane? I really don't know what to drink other than water but I still want to get my protein in today?

I know this might sound crazy but.... I want to wear a thong the right way. Not with it hidden in my but cheeks LOL :P:P

I have been on a Pre-op diet for two weeks and I can tell the difference. Of course I am in my 50s too, but I seem to be losing substance to them. I don't care if I am flat chested once I lose this weight as long as I loss the BIF (butt in front).

I can't wait to shop off the clearance rake and actually find things that will fit.

My son is getting married next year in the fall and I can't wait to go shopping for my dress. I will be able to pick what I want to wear instead of taking a dress only because it is all that available in the plus size department.

That is one of the best things you can do for your self. I quit 4 years ago and never looked back. Just think of all the money you will save from not buying smokes. You can use that money to take a cruise and show off your new body.

I went out to dinner tonight with my family to a Chinese Restaurant. I know not a good choice for food but It was more to be with the family than to eat. As dinner winded down,the conversation turn to my surgery. Mostly negative so I won't repeat the whole conversation. After about 30 minutes defending my decision for WLS, the waitress brought me my fortune cookie and the bill. The fortune cookie read.....Sometimes travel to new places leads to great transformation. 32 days and counting!!!!!:whoo:

I am coming alone. I dont want to have to worry about anyone but me. I wish had a family member that would support me but none of them understand what I am doing. I was thinking about a cheaper house hotel than what Louise suggests so I would be able to stay a couple days in Cali. It took me 8 weeks to get my passcard, Will your passport be sent to you by the time you leave? I have so much to do before my dated to leave and I am sure it will be here before I know iit. But today it seems like the time has come to a stop. I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas morning. Counting the days..... Is it time yet?
