  1. wow so now I can have hope! How is your exercise like? I only do it about 3 days a week. Are you still losing?
  2. I'm 183 and I've been in the 180s for over 1 month and a half. How long did it take you to get into the170s? or how long have you been in the 180s? I don't know if my weight loss has just completely slowed down or if this is just a hard number to break!
  3. Sorry for the ugly face my boyfrien doesn't know how to take pictures haha he just takes them and doesn't wait for me to get ready. The first pic is the newest the second one is about 3 months and the one on the right is one week after surgery.
  4. 8 lbs gone from 195 to 187. I need to lose 17 more to make the challenege I probably won't make it but I will try!
  5. I also had the lapband put in last year and removed this last february and sleeved in march. I only waited one month to get the sleeve done. I went on the lapband talk forum and told everyone that the sleeve was well worth it but my comments weren't welcome haha. They basically were upset that I'd even bring it up that lap bands were a failure.
  6. The sleeve is amazing. I also converted and I can tell you that you will never have to worry about a slippage again. It's basically no maintenance.
  7. Thank you everone I guess it's not slow since the beginning I lost a TON but the last 2-3 months its been so slow. I stall for 4 weeks at a time. Right now is the time that people notice and someone even called me "tiny". I'm far from tiny but that makes me feel like this was all worth it! Not only do I look better I feel more balanced on my feet if that makes sense. I can get around easier and feel lighter when walking.
  8. Today I went to the mall and tried on a pair of 14 jeans and they fit!!! I'm a very slow loser this being my 5th month after surgery and only losing 56 lbs. I was so excited to finally see something that was uplifting! I was a size 20 down to a 14. Time to get motivated!
  9. I have lost all my drive even what I had before surgury. I'm not quite sure what to do about it either. It's like the thought doesn't even cross my mind anymore. It's a little scary becuase I'm only 25 and what if this surgury has damaged my sex drive for life?
  10. How long did it take you to get out of the 190s? I swear I've been here for 4 weeks or more. Today I'm 193 2 lbs from last week down
  11. I once belong to planet fitness and I didn't enjoy it at all. There aren't many machines and they seem to be the lower end machines. The staff and people working out there also seemed snotty or they stared alot. It also doesn't have a pool. I joined the local YMCA and i enjoy it ALOT more but that's just my opinion
  12. I literally haven't taken any vitamins since my surgury almost 4 months ago. I just hate taking stuff but I had my blood test and my iron levels were normal. I don't seem to have any bad effects from this other then occasional tiredness. Does anybody else not take their vitamins?
  13. I have had the lapband put in about 4 months before I converted to the sleeve. This is the BEST chioce I coudl have made and I regret not choosing it first. It gives you a more natural full feeling instead of torture. DOn't get me wrong you will feel uncomfortable after you eat too much but it's not that heart attack feeling you get with the lap band. The best thing about it is you don't have to worry about it eroding or slipping. There's basically no maintenance to keeping up and no fill appointments.
