  1. My surgeon said it's so little compared to how much we lose from doing the surgery. Best wishes and congrats!
  2. Congrats! You are doing great! Keep keeping on
  3. WOW! Great job! You look beautiful!
  4. YOU WILL GET THERE YAYYYY!
  5. We share the same sleeve date congrats! I felt so much better day 14 post op. The good news is, IT DOES get better Best wishes~
  6. Just clarify it with him. Initially I stayed away from rice, but when cleared I literally ate a lil rice at least 4-6 times a week with chicken or steak and veggies, and I got to goal. It's all a balance. Best wishes.
  7. So this past Monday I hit 2 years post op. Today I weighed in at 148.9. My lowest weight was 144.7 so I'm still at the 1-5 range, still below my goal weight. Sleevie still has great restriction. For me personally my problem is junk food (sweets) ugh, if I eat bad I will gain, if I eat good I will lose, it's just that simple.
  8. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!! AMAZING! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SOOOOO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!!GUUURRRRRL YOU ARE ALMOST IN ONEderLAND YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! Keep keeping ON! HUGS!!!! P.s. 148.9 today lol
  9. I am 15 months at goal (reached goal at 9 months out). You should start a topic under the post surgery section to see if people are still losing after 1 year out. I believe people are still losing. Best wishes to you! and keep keeping on
  10. Also, when I said I eat whatever I want, I still eat pretty healthy food choices . I'm not into fried foods...I love steak now, never did before, I love veggies and salads too, love chicken, rice, Pasta, good stuff . Again my problem is sweets ugh lol...just wanted to clarify that lol
  11. Honey I love your honesty! NEVER GIVE UP and NEVER STOP BELIEVING in YOURSELF!!! We believe in YOU! I'm so sorry to hear you have been going through health issues, I know how horrible and depressing that can be first hand, believe me. I have seen sooo many specialist lately it's hard to keep track lol. Keep working on it and trying to find out what's going on, look for new solutions/medications etc. so you can get better! Keep keeping on !!! HUGS!
  12. Don't feel down , turn it around ! YOU CAN DO IT! YOU GO GIRL! I will see y'all Saturday HUGS!!!!!!!
  13. Awww Love you M2G! Thank you!!!! Yes, the skin has tightened up somewhat and that's just with time. I can literally grab hand fulls of skin especially the stomach area above my belly button (below the belly button is pretty flat) and my back thigh/legs, also a ton under my arms . I've been working out 5-6 times a week since February 2012 (mainly weights and zumba). I took some before pics in February 2012 with just my bra and undies and will take after pics in February 2013 to see if it helped any. I think my biceps look good, but it's been difficult trying to get the triceps built up. This tool is AMAZING! I STILL have pretty good restriction. Sometimes it's a few bites and that's it, then there are other times where I feel like I ate a whole lot (but it's really no where near a lot of food, more like a normal thin person would eat). The most difficult part is the head/body craving sweets , I LOVE candy and sweets. It's especially really difficult once a month during tom. But I didn't cut 85% of my tummy out to turn back. I refuse to give up. I do eat whatever I want, and If I get too close to my goal (I try to stay under lol), I just start to watch what I'm eating, and drink more Water and it works. Water ugh, that is really the most challenging, but even without sleevie we should be drinking more of it. I hope I answered everything lol!
  14. I also forgot to mention I love handbags tooooo! I bought a LV speedy 35 when I reached goal LOL! YAY!
  15. Thank you so much! You are so sweet! I do have TONS of LOOSE skin however most of it isn't hanging loose skin. Girl thank you for always being there for me and motivating me and inspiring me! Love you tons!!!!!!!!! Thank you ...no problems regarding the sleeve that I'm aware of. I need to get 2 year post op blood work done to make sure all my labs are fine. DON'T STOP taking your Vitamins

  18. I figured that! It was creeeepy LOL! I reported it ASAP. Thanks!
  19. Thanks sweets!! You made my day Awww Thank you !!! I started with walking, and really love hiking. Finally joined a gym this past February and try to go 5 times a week and try and do at least 2 zumba classes a week as well. Portions have been the key for me. Sleevie totally helps me with that. Some days he lets me eat more than others but for the most part I eat portions like a normal thin person now, and eat every thing. I still try to eat protein first when possible.
  20. WAY TO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO VANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! CELEBRATE!
