  1. Hi there! I think I have you beat. NONE of my family knows I'm doing this. I had to tell 2 people at work to cover for me and one to drive me home from the hospital. That's it. I know I can do this, but I don't want someone standing over me all the time, "reminding me" how it's done, when they actually have no idea!! My surgery date is the 22nd. Good luck to you.
  2. I appreciate your candor. Today is my 1st day of the exciting 14-day Liquid Pre-op diet. LOL Iam wondering how many days it took you to shrink you tummy a bit so you weren't so hungry? Thanks!
  3. Does everyone have to do the upper GI? This is the 1st of heard anyone mention it.
  4. Good Luck!! I am 60. My date is August 22 and I can't wait!! I, too, have dieted all my life and gotten no where. So, as with you, I am looking forward to a very new and excited "rest of my life!!"
  5. It is the type of surgical instrument used. You only have one incision in the belly button, instead of 4 or 5.
  6. Has anyone had the Spider Surgery? I'm having trouble lining up my insurance with a facility that has the tool that is a Bariatric Center of Excellencecertification. Is it worth the wait ?
  7. Good luck! I hope I get my surgery date soon! I hate "hurry up and wait!!".
