  1. I'm with Cindy. Love that my belly is smaller than my boobs. Also love to see my curves again.
  2. Let me clarify on post op, 1 wk clear, 1 wk full liq, 2 weeks pureed and 1 wk soft.
  3. I had one day clear liquids pre op and 5 weeks post op before I could eat solid foods. You can do it and CONGRATS on being banded.
  4. Added both of you, BaileyRose and Booboofachi. Excited to have new friends
  5. So I am reading posts here on LBT and right on the page is an add to order Chili's online. My thought is that I am trying to stay away from eating out and bam it's right in my face. Just thought it was ridiculous.
  6. I have an IUD and have not have my period in a year and half. I hope that as I lose weight I do not get it back. Kinda nice not having it.
  7. I'm at 190.6, able to fit into my favorite size 18, but still real tight. Some size 16 fit great, go figure. Exercise goal was not quite met, but still did okay. Been busy with church functions. Diet is still getting cleaned up. Personal goal good.
  8. I have size 20's that are to big, a size 20 that is I can get on but it's tight, a size 18 that is also pretty tight and two size 16's that fit great! talk about size ranges.
  9. My energy went up and my back pain almost none. I was banded on June 30. I could barely walk up stairs without exhaustion but now I can run up the stairs. So keep your head up and know that as the weight comes off, energy will increase. Tanya
  10. Sorry so Late, weight 191.6, Excercise goal met, Diet goal not met, personal goal half way met (weigh myself every other to three days).
  11. I was told by my surgeon to use diet coke to get unstuck. I have done this a few times and not only did it work great I was also able to get that taste of soda. Of course do not get stuck just to have soda, . But just two sips is enough to satisfy me. I buy the small cans so I do not waste so much. Good luck on your bubbly experiment.
  12. Has anyone had increased bruising since being banded? My legs and arms are full of bruising that I have no idea where they come from. I have been prone to bruising in the past but not like this. Also what can I take, if anything, to prevent or reduce the bruises. Thanks ahead of time. Tanya
  13. Up a pound today from last week. Weight today is 193. Agreed that my weekend was bad. But today is a new beginning.
  14. I had my first fill on August 3rd and still feel no restriction. I fact I feel like I am hungry all the time lately. I am so worried that I stretched my pouch. My PA stressed only eating a cup of food at a sitting and yet I'm still so hungry. I am hoping that my next fill in Sept will help give me some kind of restriction.
  15. I take Flintstones with iron. :-) they taste pretty good and are chewable. I'm scared to take gummies thinking they will get stuck. I do like the Bariatric Advantage calcium crystals and the iron. I hated the calcium chewables. They tasted like chalk.
  16. For us bandsters this definantly not easy. We will always have to watch what we eat & exercise. The battle against fat will be forever. Thinking of this I enjoy compliments for the work I am doing. I know it can be hard for some but we are beautiful women taking charge of our futures.
  17. Any one from Minnesota that would have great places to eat out?
  18. My Dr says no candy or gum because it causes you to salivate and I guess that is not good. Not sure why.
  19. Name: tanya Age: 39 Weight/size on 7-29: 192, size 20 Goal weight/size 8-30: 180, size 18 Exercise goal: walk 30 mins 5 days a week, attend Water aerobics 3 times a week. Dietary goal: stop chocolate! Personal goal: quit focusing on scale and focus on clothes Banded: 6-30-11 Weight loss since banded: 18# since day after surgery. Yay I'm. So excited to join my first challenge.
  20. Pre surgery I was 204, after surgery I was 210. I am now 192. The clinic scale only had me at a 8# weight loss. Frustrating!
  21. I love My Fitness Pal . I use it on my adroid
  22. Has anyone started the august challenge? I'm interested in a challenge and am excited to be in one.
  23. My surgeon is about an hour away. There is/was a Dr in town where I live but his office was rude to me so I decided to go to Dr Johnson. I am glad I did go to him since the Dr that refused me is now moving out of state and all his patients now need to look for a new one. Anyhow my surgeon is excellent, his office is also a center of excellence. He has given me his pager so if I have any problems I can call him. He is available anytime except when he is in surgery. His nurses are also wonderful. I feel he is worth the drive and feel blessed by God that it did not go to the office here in town.
  24. I want to do the challenge. How does it work?
