  2. It is Syntrax Nectar. They havery their own website or u can buy them from Amazon.com. U may have stores in your area that sell it. Good luck. They had a sample pack of 11 flavors for $13 and free shipping.
  3. Why is there a need for both surgeries? I don't understand why one or the other wouldn't be sufficient. Is u have plication, then what is the band doing? The stomach has already been reduced. Someone please educate me on this procedure.
  4. I haven't had a fill yet, but I can get an 800 mg motrin down. I bought the pill crusher but haven't had to use it.
  5. The pain is more soreness than anything else. The pain meds they will give u will suffice. I've had several surgeries and this was the easiest.

  9. My surgery is scheduled for the 13th and I have had to do 3 weeks of protein shakes. I do get to eat one small meal of chicken or fish and salad or veggies. I cheated on the holiday. It can be done. Keep on trying.
  10. As for Oprah some people are just afraid of surgery. She might be one of those. Has she ever done a show on WLS?
  11. I know this is going to be a problem for me once I get on foods. I'm to be banded next Wednesday.
  12. What did the liver shrinking portion of the diet consist of? I have been on a 3 week pre-op diet. Surgery next Wednesday. Consisted of protein shakes and 1 lite protein meal a day. Chicken and fish, salad. Greek yogurt, applesauce. Strawberries, and oatmeal. Been difficult but doable.
  13. So sorry to hear this? Have u ever tried liquid diets? U might be able to lose faster drinking 2 protein shakes and eating a lite dinner to lose quickly. Just a suggestion.

  15. 4everFit makes great tasting fruit flavored ones u can get samples from their website. Also love Unjury chocolate splendor. Walmart sells Body Fortress whey protein, chocolate peanutbutter is good as well as the plain chocolate. It has 52 grams of protein. My doc says just use one scoop cutting it down to 26 grams. The syntax nectar have all been good. Hope this helps.

  19. They have 30 days. Usually doesn't take that long.
  20. I had to do the 6 month diet too. However after I was done it only took 2 months to get my appt. And approval. Surgery is July 12. that will be 2 months. Good luck to u.
  21. Well u r lucky to only have 5days of liquids. My doc put us on 3 weeks of liquids and some minor food like oatmeal, yogurt, chicken, fish and salad. So this will be very difficult for me. But its a means to and end.
  22. I just bought some yesterday and haven't tasted it yet but I can say it is pricey. $1 per container Dannon.
