I take protonix.

So my surgery was friday the 24th and I am starving!!!!!! I thought the hunger with this surgery was suppose to be minimal. I keep thinking I've gone through all of this and I could have just starved myself without surgery. Anyone else have this problem?

I was sleeved on 6/24/11 and my tummy is quite noisy lately. I have actually felt like I am having hunger pains. What the heck!!! Lol. Hopefully this will pass soon

Hey there Manz, I'm sorry I took so long to get back to u, I had a pretty scary time post op. I started bleeding internally and had to go back to the hospital. Passed out and bp dropped to 40/10! Went to ICU for a night and finally got every thing settled. I got to come home Tuesday and everything has been getting better each day. I'm sorry you were so sick after surgery. I hope all is better now. We r gonna rock this sleeve from now on! I was 239 when I went into icu and this morning I weighted 223!!! I know alot was fluids but I'll still take that.

Thank u all for the encouragement. I feel so much better today. I am having no problem swallowing my liquids but the protein shakes.....eeeeewwww so sweet. I'm just trying to stay hydrated for now. I can't wait to be a few weeks out and have some real food. Lol

So a quick update. I got to go home yesterday. I was bleeding internally they think a blood vessel didn't completely cauterize. I feel so much bettter. Bp is up to 110/50. Thank you all so much for your prayers. I'm having no problem sipping liquids except for the protein drinks and they give me diarrhea. I guess it's pretty normal to feel weak after surgery also. Thanks again for being there

So I went home Saturday got very weak and had to come back in. My bp dropped to 40/10. And the dr determined I was bleeding inside. I went to the icu for a night and then to a room. So here I am waiting for my blood levels to go up. Thank u all for your prayers and well wishes

The dr said I prob had vessel that was bleeding. He didn't hav to go back in my bloodwork shows the bleeding has stopped. I'll prob go to a Rm tonight or tomorrow. Thank you all for your encouraging words and prayers

Came back to hospital after severe weakness and nausea, got up to go to the bathroom and passed out. Now I'm in icu with a possible inernal bleed. Please pray for me. Don't yet if he gonna take me back to the OR or not

I had my sleeve at about 10 yesterday and now I'm laying in the hosp bed nauseated and having a slight anxiety attack wondering what the heck have I done. If anyone is up at this rime can u please tell me if this happened to you? Will it be ok? Will I've ok.

So my surgery is at 9 in the morning and I am pretty nervous, but also excited. I can't wait to get started on this life change.

Sooooo Manz only 1 sleep left until the big day. I got to work this morning and wrote down the date and my stomach just dropped when I looked at it and realized this time tomorrow I will be getting ready for surgery . Oh my heck!!! Yesterday afternoon I was really nervous and saying to myself that maybe this is too drastic of a step but today I am excited and can't wait to begin my transformation. I will be thinking of you tomorrow sleeve sister . Have a great day.

Hi Manz, My surgery is friday too. I feel the exact same way. Scared/excited. My 3 boys are 25, 20 and 17 but I am thinking the exact same things. I want to be there to see my grandchildren grow up and I haven't been thin in so long what will I look like. will I look alot older? will I even recognize myself? what if something happens and I chose to do this? I think this is all normal from what I've read on here. We are gonna be Awesome, thin and healthy. I will keep you in my prayers. Good luck to us!!

I haven't even had surgery yet and am already getting these comments. A friend at work who knows I will be having surgery said to me " your husband won't be able to keep his hands off of you when you get that weight off". yes it will be so nice to not have to pay him to put his hands on me. lol what can you do?

My surgery is the 24th and I am feeling the same way off and on. Sometimes I can hardly wait and sometimes I wonder what the heck am I doing! Then I get on here and see all of the amazing results and just can't wait until I have those results myself. Since we are only 1 day apart in our surgery keep posting and we can keep each other going.

When you are sitting down if you will tighten you calf muscles every now and then that will help. That is basically what happens when you walk and what the machine in the hospital was doing for you.

I ust tried the watermelon/strawberry and I really like it. I love that you can adjust the flavor.
