Pie Hole Report: See Pamela's Haydee - We went to Ibiza (YUM!) and had a very nice time. I had some of the most delicious cabernet EVER. They have some very nice wines. I have no idea how much it cost...LOL...DH was paying so I'm just saying to the waiter all night long...."Oh, whatever you recommend will be fine!" LOL Had crab cakes, beef tenderloin and creme brulee! Delish! Our group of friends decided that we would get together 1x a month and try a new restaurant every month. Houston has a million excellent ones. Thursday we go to Smith and Wolenski's for his company party....where the wine flows like a river.... OH, and I just made an appt for that same day to get a FILL! What was I thinking??!

Tracy - my teenage son, who's been 30# overweight his whole life (just like me!) lost at least 40# since he's been on Adderall! He's 6' and weighs 145# soaking wet. So, yeah...it's something to watch out for.

TracyK - Put the cookies in the freezer! Cookies freeze very well. I think that's your best bet. Judy - So sorry about your sad news :confused_smile: That really is hard to take this time of year. Thank goodness she has the support of a wonderful church community now. Suzie -- Yikes!!! I think the coldest temps I've ever experienced in my life was 10 degrees or so and I can still remember how painful it was!! Jeez, will you really have clients come in on a day like today??? Ugh! Janie - Thinking of you today. Do you have a doctors appt today? TracyinKS - Robby sounds like he's doing just great!! How's it going at school? Are his teachers just ready to kiss you on the lips or what? Has anyone been watching HBO's House of Saddam? I am so glad to be watching and learning so much about all of that. Very interesting and I do recommend it! I went to our HBO on Demand to get caught up...it's a 5 part series and they're on Part III right now, I think. Grrrr...gotta get to work. It's gray and gloomy here today...and hard to get motivated!!

TracyK - would you mind sharing your mom's banana nut bread recipe with me?...or is it a well-guarded family secret? I just LOVE that stuff and haven't found a recipe that I'm just crazy about. Well, I drank a wee bit too much last night but we had a wonderful dinner with friends. My headache is almost gone. lol

My stepson-in-law is a brand new doctor! He's doing his residency at a top hospital here in Houston in the ER. I am soooooo glad to have a doctor in the family now! He'll know who all the good doctors are -- that alone is worth all the effort he's put into his education! Otherwise picking a doctor is such a crapshoot! Tracy - Have you already gotten your new van? Hero has an appt. to meet our vet this morning, then I'm off to get my hair cut. Gotta work on some jewelry then dinner out with friends tonight...which will be fun. We're going "downtown" for a night out...WOO HOO! Ya'll have a great day!

Well, I was just curious how much a loaf of nice cranberry bread goes for these days! Tracy, did it snow over there??? I left work at 3:00 cause I was feeling like crap and when I got on the road I couldn't believe it was actually snowing pretty hard!! Wow. (for all you other Violets, that is obviously BIG news for us!! Kinda stupid eh?) Laura - Do you really think you can keep the sex a secret from Russell??? Our old neighbors did that, except it was switched...the husband knew and the wife didn't. I'll faint if it's a girl! I just KNOW it's a boy!! (I just LOVE little boys!) Yeah, Tracy they still make it! I was reading about it... the 'usual dosage is 7.5 mg 3x a day. HA!! I only took maybe ONE 3.75mg tablen 1x/day... maybe 2x on a really, really crazy day! I can't imagine what 7.5 3x a day would have done to me! :eek::w00t: :bored: :drool:

My favorite happy pill is Tranxene. I don't even know if they prescribe it anymore. One of my old bosses drove me over the edge and I had to rely on chemicals to get thru each day....but let me tell you they worked! NOTHING bothered me when I took those!!!

Kat - If I'm not mistaken I believe that steroids make your appetite increase...as well as your libido, stamina, and weight! Just ride it out, all will be back to normal soon (I hope!). Are the hives getting better?? Hmmmmm...I bet I know where Janie is right now! I worked on a jewelry project almost all day and took Hero to the dog park. A bad fight broke out between two dogs....a big American Bulldog (120#) and a Golden Retreiver (60#). Both were ok when it was over, but it is so scary!! They sound like they're ripping each other to shreds! And Hero had just been playing with that bulldog for quite some time, too! The only way to break up the fight is to get right in the middle of it and pull them off one another. Yikes!! Well, I'm over the big hump at work since our party is done so now I can concentrate on my Christmas shopping. I won't have much, thank goodness. The kids and I decided to shorten our own lists and 'adopted' a teen from Covenant House (a shelter for homeless, runaway and thrown-away teens). We went out and got everything on her list that she asked for and it was lots of fun to shop for someone you KNOW will appreciate it!! Well, 5:15a will be coming very early in the morning so I'm going to hit the hay. G'night!!

I'm not sure, but I think they have to go in there and see exactly what caused the slip to see if it's repairable or not. If it's not, they will have to remove it and that is that.... you will have to deal with it unfortunately. Perhaps you could convert to a gastric sleeve? You'll just have to discuss all your options when you go for your doctors appt. I understand how you feel, though...I wouldn't have mine removed unless it was ABSOLUTELY necessary!! I would definitely have it replaced/repaired. Best of luck to you!! Let us know how you're doing.
