Thanks to everyone for the replies!! I do take Nexium daily & Prilosec but I do think I need something to calm the spasms..there really bad when I first wake up & they hurt really BAD!!! Ughh!!

Surgery was on June 29 & I've been experiencing really hard stomach spasms/cramps..they actually take my breath away..kinda feels similar to contractions..anyone else have this & what have you done to fix it???

Dr Almanza didn't take pics either!! Must be another surgeon in Mexico!!

Thanks to everyone! I do agree the spasms take my breath away..it's basically like contractions I have to breathe through them. I tried to eat & drink & it hurts sooooo bad! Feels like my esophagus is sore & anything that's trying to go down can't fit..I hope this gets better!!

Hey! I ate an entire cluster & the legs & was full..I didn't know how to measure them either..I had it with I can't believe it's not butter & was delicious!!! Hope u enjoy!!

One month post-op & I'm experiencing really hard stomach cramps & diarrhea!!! Is this normal at this stage?? My stomach is making gurgling sounds too!! I already can't get enough fluids down so I'm afraid with the diarrhea I'll get dehydrated...the more I try to drink I get super nauseated!! Ughhhhh!! Helpppppp!!!!

Thanks to everyone for the replies..@Yellow Rose I have the same sinus issue going on and so does one of the ladies that was at the Recovery House with us..so not sure what's going on but it's 3 of us like this. I understand I'll have good & bad days but I'm guessing since I had so many issues after the surgery could be why it's taking it's toll on me. My drain tube incision kept opening up to but all of my incisions were so infected that I had to go back through surgery for removal of the stitches & irrigation of the incisions..it was pretty bad! But I think I'll be making a trip to see my dr just to see what things are looking like..might be some type of vitamin issue..I'll keep everyone posted & thanks to all for the support!!

Thanks you guys I will increase my protein starting today. & see if that helps...I get up from the sofa and walk to the kitchen and back and I feel like I've walked a marathon and I also have heart palpitations..could be my blood pressure because I have noticed dizziness when I change positions..thanks for all the info!

Yeah I hear ya! I'm super tired & sluggish..no good for nothing..just ugh! :-( I hope it gets better soon because just being like this wears me out! I don't like this stage!!

Thanks Kathy!! I have the nausea really bad too & also bad acid reflux! My dr gave me Zofran for the nausea & it's my best friend lol & I take Nexium for the acid..I'm trying to hang on tight but my my my it's very trying sometimes!! I know it'll only get better but where is BETTER?? Hahaha!! It needs to get here now because I'm tired of feeling down..prayers to you & I appreciate your prayers! ~Devan~

I'm 3 wks post op & yeah I went shopping but the place they bring you to tries to rip you off!! Knock off Coach & Louis Vuitton bags for $175-$200 really cheap type material..it was bogus!!

I'm 3 weeks post op & I'm soooooo drained!!! I have no energy whatsoever!!! I get up to do something such as housework or anything simple as that and I can't because I feel worn out!!! Ughh!! What should I do?? Anybody out there feels like this?? HELPPPP!!!

Louisiana Medicaid doesn't pay for the surgery at all! It's crazy how some states pay for the procedure...

Hang in there!! I'm 3 wks post-op & still sometimes question myself but we've all came so far & you'll see that in the end all of this will be worth it...yes it's rough & yes each day gets easier & yes even as things get easier you may still have a rough day but toughen up & say you can & you will overcome this obstacle because you will!! Congrats & take care!!

Well I guess it's basically the way you made your first statement that made me agree totally with MP8BTPC! However, I had surgery with Dr Almanza & when I got back home I was hospitalized from infected incisions..now my cousin went with Dr Aceves & she got home and was hospitalized due to infected incisions as well..now my cost was less but my care was excellent & my cousins cost was more & she said the care was excellent but guess what we both was hospitalized for infections!! So it goes to show you it can happen to anyone..doesn't matter about the track record of the doctor because things happen daily & I'm sure me & my cousin being hospitalized is probably not listed in there statistical data just yet..I did what's best for ME & I'm glad you did what was best for YOU!!!

I agree! I do see where Suzanne priced shop & I see that because she chose to go to Mexico instead of staying in the states..just because one doctor in Mexico is cheaper than the other means nothing at all...a correction needs to be made by Suzanne because in fact she did price shop!!

Ok I think you should travel alone like I did & you will save $$$$$!!! I'm 3 weeks post op & traveled to Mexico alone & saved money by leaving my family behind...you'll meet ppl & you won't be alone at all!!

I'm 3 wks out & have nausea all day long! I take my meds but still feel sick...very lethargic & can't wait to feel better!! Ughh!! I hope u get well soon!!

Go to your bank & apply for a personal loan...the loan companies for the surgeries have very high interest rates & you'll end up paying a lot..

I haven't talked with my dr..I will call his office in the morning because something isn't right..
