I was Banded in 2011. I have hated it since the day I got it. I did lose only 65lbs though. Everything gets stuck so its very hard to eat healthy food. I find myself eating sliders. I never really get full because food gets stuck so easy so I have to throw up or stop eating. Its miserable. I know it's great for some people but not me. I have gained 20 lbs back, high blood pressure now, sleep apnea, high cholesterol. I so wish I would have known more about the sleeve at the time but it was just coming out and it scared me to get anything permanent. Well now I am waiting for my ins co to approve me for the sleeve. I hear its so much better for a lot of people! I am hoping I get approved, but a little nervous. Surgery sucks, but I know I need this! I would love to hear any comments on this!
