_{Hi What procedure are you getting?: How long did the process take?}

I'm having the sleeve. The process has been over a year for me because it's taking a long time to lose my 10% due to set backs in my weight loss. Once I buckled down in January to lose the weight I was able to drop the 44 lbs in 6 months (37 lbs. plus the extra I gained on top of what was required) and then the rest happened quickly the last 2 weeks. I have my pre-ops tomorrow and then I'm ready to go on the 13th.

Surgery Date on August 13, 2014...Have waited so long...A little weak in the knees, but standing strong.

As I get closer I am getting more anxious and I'm not sleeping as much. Ack!

I go back and forth between excitement, dread, and terror haha! I am really ready but it's very overwhelming to think about possible complications and set-backs. At this point, I'm doing some deep breathing and reflection and telling myself that whatever happens will happen and I'm doing everything I can to live a better life! You will be okay!
