  1. Love the big pants pics! You look great!
  2. Should hit about 550 if I only eat what is planned, which I think should be a cinch. Im going on Vacay on thursdays pm, so will probably fast on Wednesday... then just wing it until the following wednesday. Lots of hiking and kayaking, so fingers crossed that Ill come back without a gain. I know how you feel Coops, some days are just like that! I know here the weather is changing, and that makes me feel different. The clouds are rolling in, and its starting to look a little bit like fall! Take care girls!... oh and Brown, just make sure you don't feel deprived, its easier to stay on plan if you get enough to eat. My dinner was a little short, so I am having some SF pudding to up my cals and protein... and I like it!
  3. I will never be a small, I am a large top. I'm just happy that the XLs are way too XL!
  4. I went to a womens bath house years ago, like you said, women of all sizes, shapes and ages. It was so interesting.
  5. Those pics are worth a thousand words! I love the shirt pic too, you look like a different person, and happier as well...they are powerful aren't they!?
  6. I have added it to my diet, on my hot cereal and here and there...I really like it, and don't need to use much. I don't know if it is helping losing weight, but it doesn't seem to hurt!
  7. Last posted June 22nd, now only 3 pounds from goal. Hope to get there by January19....! 3 year surgaversary. Now theres some slow losing! I'll take it.

  11. Also, the skin may get a little better over time. You are still early out... wait at least a year and re evaluate. I could still use surgery, but my skin is a lot better after three years.
  12. When i joined the 5:2 website and filled in all the forms, they recommended 550 on fast days for me. Good thing! Thats where Im at on most "rest" days.
  13. send a message to Laura Ven, with your story (how long you have been on 5:2 and your feelings about keeping it as a lifestyle) and she will let you know whats up with the private site. Best of luck to you!
  14. Time to start wearing: http://store.baconsalt.com/JDs-Bacon-Lip-Balm_p_40.html
  15. I have a veg friend who swears by the coconut bacon... I also use this; http://www.jdfoods.net/products/baconsalt.php vegan and in several flavors. Low Sodium. Which is good on anything.
  16. You sound awesome Brown! NIce to meet you!. First, I would suggest tracking on feast days. Snacks and all. Just to get a grip and take responsibility for everything that goes in your mouth. 2 pounds is within the normal range for the 5:2, I know more would feel better! Keep up the good work.
  17. I have never liked my arms... before too fat to wear sleeveless, now too baggy.... would I get the surgery? Maybe. If cost, time down, and fear were not a factor...it sure would be nice to be able to wear sleeveless sometimes.... When I dance, everyone in the class go sleeveless....except me. There is always coverup makeup for the meantime....
  18. ....Oh, and by the way... I lost one more pound! Only 3 pounds from goal! Woohoo! 172.1... Want to see those new numbers too.....
  19. Too much sugar makes me feel awful these days too.
  20. Coops! 7 pounds... You can sooo do this! You are so close! a 10 would be just FINE wouldn't it!? Inches are so much better than pounds, I know we are stuck on the scale, but how you look is where its at...(and how you feel of course!)
  21. That sounds like so much fun and adventure! I haven't spent much time on a horse. Just a ride here and there... No doubt the horses thought I was stupid too! It was really fun. I had a boyfriend in HIghschool that was a "cowboy". He rode broncs in Rodeos. Quite a wild boy.
  22. I have a little chocolate almost every night. The only sugar I eat at home (mostly). A tablespoon of 60% chips. Sometimes with walnuts, sometimes peanutbutter ( replaces reeses) or sometimes on warm SF pudding. I'm such a desert hound. I have to stay away from the "real" deserts most of the time, or Oh Oh.... its over. I'm an addict if I go over a certain amount a few days in a row. But I walk the fine line!
  23. I do about 1200-1400 depending on exercise on feast days, 500-550 on fast days.
  24. One day at a time. Sounds very healthy! You can do it.
  25. I just joined the she-woman men hater club because your husband gets to go to Tahoe!
